Ozzymosis, picking ONE paysite as the best one is a HARD time... for us design companies they are like our children you know? Hard to have a favorite... but if you want to see what IMHO is the edge in paysite design, please take a look at www.cumonherface.com - and pick the flash tour. It was our longest production ever, but the result... well take a look and see for yourself :)

All your comments are very welcome! :)

Take care,

Well... to be 100% honest... design alone means very little.

The correct formula in my eyes would be:

Content + Design + Traffic = sales

Content is the MOST important aspect of a paysite. If you have content + design, just let the traffic flow into it and you have a kick ass bling bling machine :)

a 23 year old with fake tits?

did the client choose that photo or he left it up to you?

design is waaaaaaaaaaaaaay overrated - no, wrong, design is not over rated, Photoshop wizardry is what is over rated.

Mutt,

We usually choose the girls and position them - this is something that takes a lot of time & playing around with the design, thanks for the kudos.

However, if the client knows what model they want where, we're happy to follow their instructions.

That fucking rocks. I'll have to start promoting them again. The last tour they put up killed my conversions. It gets my vote for the Worst Tour Ever. This looks good, though. The non-flash tour is good as well.

Funny how they censor oral penetration then show a chick with a couple gallons of jizz running down her face on the same page :)

Edit: Their webmaster section needs a serious makeover, though.

I'd have to agree by saying design isn't the be-all and end-all of sales, but it sure does help funnel the traffic properly and leave the surfer with a good feeling at the end of it all. The worst would be to frustrate your surfer before he even bought the site (or huzzah, AFTER he bought the site! Eek!) Like a store you walk into that's so crowded you get lost and can't find the door to get out. IKEA is awesome at funneling traffic through their store in a particular route, but they always let you cut straight through to the good parts if you look carefully.

Anyways, I like my design. :) I know it sounds bad, but I spent weeks on it, and I let the surfers decide what to keep and what to toss until I stopped getting negative email about it. Then I left it alone! And it's worked for a long time now, with no complaints! It's not your typical paysite design, but it works for me!

Elli, I like your site. Your personality is more important than any design. Personality is something that most sites lack (see examples from this thread...)

Besides, you're really damned cute AND Canadian :)

Thanks for the kind words man... :)

Yes, its converting, and converting well..! My girlfriend promotes it and does around 1:350 with it - TGP traffic only. The design before this one was made by us too, but had less samples and thus SE traffic didnt convert as great as it is converting right now. With galleries, people knew what the site was all about prior to looking at the tour because they had just seen the samples, but now, with more content on the tour, traffic sources like SE and mailers will do MUCH better than before.

Take care and kind regards,

Bruno

I'll have to agree with the others that are saying design isn't what gets the sale. There are quite a few new affiliate programs out there that have some of the funkiest designs I've ever seen. Yet, they convert like a mother fucker...

If you want clean, nice, simple designs with proven to work sales text.. Give me a shout and we'll work out a deal... :thumbsup
