We have troops in Afghanistan and don't need to question this. Al-Quaeda was based, trained and operated there, not in IRAQ! |

But that doesnt change the fact that there are as many canadians here that post regularly, and people from the UK, and elsewhere. It doesnt matter HOW MANY people congregate here from a certain place. What does that have to do with a person speaking out or questioning whats happening in their city? I make posts about local LA shit all the time, sometimes LA news is the first news in the country to report things. Just because there is only 1 person from Brazil here doesnt mean he cant make a post about a local man was busted for explosives and taken to jail and executed without trial. One person is enough to speak loud enough on this board or any other to be heard. I was pointing out to a canadian on this board one day about how the medical equipment in 50% of all diagnositc equipment (including ultrasound equip) in canada's hospitals was neglected and obsolete due to the old health care system and how they managed their equipment and funds. Basically the nurses were not trained to use this 'new' equipment so it was never used and became onbsolete, a HUGE waste of funds. I never saw any canadian complain about that. http://www.freemarketfoundation.com/...oid=892&idv=17 Just a 'Dumb American' pointing out the bullshit curtains that ALL COUNTRIES pull over its people. Id be willing to bet the American's vs Canadian headcount here would be similar. I could be wrong, but there are A bunch of canadians here hehehe and they post more than the americans! Name em: Quiet, Sleazy, Evil Chris, Lady Mischief, the list goes on, Canada is repped here big time. Are you saying there is NOTHING to complain about in canada? Shit man, i need to go check it out. Prolly too cold for my ass heh. Anyway, point is i RARELY EVER see someone bitch about ANYTHING to do with their land. But DAILY I SEE Canadians and others POINTING at America. You must agree on that ;) |

I wasn't the only one to think so. You were just trying to belittle someone who had a perfectly valid point, with an obscure side issue. Well, you probably achieved your goal. You can feel proud. :2 cents: |

I must think it's because this board is mostly US centric, so non US threads often die a quick death. But just as an example of the kind of questioning of government that is NOT happening in the US: http://www.the-hutton-inquiry.org.uk/ Tony Blair is fighting for his political life. |

That should be quite clear to you and if you don't understand why that is relevant you are probably in the 2%. If someone else didn't get it, they are just as slow as you. Why do you ask me to explain in excruciating detail the logic of very simple to follow threads? |

Now, if you say that the war in Iraq has influence only on the USA , then this post will be short. Plenty of posts have been done by Canadians about Canada or Canada related topics: - Visa shit ( no banks for porn here) - mail-order marijuana - gay marriages - non-participation of troops - Canadian soldiers killed in Afghan... and so on. The point is " look at the subject of THIS thread".... |

This guy is worth over a billion dollars. If that doesn't speak volumes about the average Americans stupidity I don't know what does. http://www.orm.cc/ |

Ive not seen many Blair supporters in here comparing him to Hitler and etc. Nah, they just point and laugh. I think this thread is going to make me go to the next Anti-War rally and get pics so I can SHOW Lady Mischief what America thinks, not let her read a thread about a Washington Poll that claims we all think Saddam was behind it. There are people gathered in points around this state right now speaking out AGAINST this shit, and AGAINST BUSH etc. They arent sitting on a board arguing about canada Vs America news sources. So i think this thread will make me get more involved and go to the next one. I love taking pics, so it will be fun. Maybe the cops will beat up some more AMERICANS for speaking out and gathering in public. See its a double standard. Sit at home and bitch about Bush or go out and complain and get labeled a hippie. It sure beats sitting here writing this post. hahaha |

And are hated by the moronic majority for being unpatriotic, terrorist sympathizers...etc. Just ask half the people on this board. They'll probably come out with something as insightful as "they should all move to France" That's the level of insight Bush depends on for his re-election. And he's got it in an awful lot of the population. Where's rooster when I need a case in point? |

Being American is almost embarrassing nowadays. You think it's easy to watch your country torn apart the way we have seen ours? |

L.A. Why?? Canadian politics or events have little or no influence on the world. USA politica and events does. Off topic, but you like music, so: http://sympatico.globeandmail.com/se...ico-technology Music download suits settled Associated Press WASHINGTON ? The recording industry says it has settled 52 of the 261 suits it filed against Internet users accused of illegally permitted others to download music from their computers. The Recording Industry Association of America, which plans to file hundreds more lawsuits in October, did not specify how much it collected from the settlements it announced on Monday. Defense lawyers familiar with some cases said payments ranged from $2,500 (U.S.) to $7,500 each, with at least one settlement for as much as $10,000. Pretty steep for downloading and sharing music.... |
