That's something you have to take into consideration when you take on the responsibility... Unfortunately, the law doesn't make allowances for that kind of privacy if you are the custodian :(

You remove them from the site if it is content covered by the 2257 rules.

Maybe we should lobby the government to change that law. I think it is reasonable to have a P.O. Box listed, but put in the law that if a request is made by a government agency for legitimate purposes to see your documents and you don't respond in a resonable amount of time then they could subpoena your real address from the Post Office. I know the government doesn't exactly like adult webmasters, but certainly something could be done. Is an amateur model going to have to be harmed by someone who found her address on the 2257 page of her site before anything is done? :(

Tough shit. They are in the wrong business.

Harsh but true.

I think content providers having to display their business addresses is one thing. It's not nearly as likely that someone would start to stalk the photographer or broker of a model than it is to think that an amateur model who has her home address on her website might be stalked by an obsessed fanatic. Individual models who pose nude being forced to display their home addresses like that is just plain wrong. :(

That, by the way, is the only hurdle forcing me to buy exclusive sets instead of shooting them myself. Good news for the photographers, bad news for me. LOL

It's wrong but neccessary.. We display ours in our custodial information. Fortunately our address is obscure, however, it's still the law, however unfair.

This topic has been beat to death and ALL angles and opinions have been covered. None of what has been said has made any impact on the law. If you feel strongly enough about it, stop bitching and do something to make a difference.
