i had a simiular experince;

was so-so friends with a female neighor of mine. that is really sad, file a lawsuit there is NO statute of limitations for a sex crime. There are statute of limitations, but it varies state to state. Being the other party was only 12 at the time I think it would be hard to convince someone to prosecute.
