If we're talking physical:
- strong forearms (I really have no explaination for this one lol)
- a great smile that light up his eyes
- a body that is slim but not too muscled because big muscles gross me out


If we're talking on a more relationship type level:
- attitude really is most important. I can NOT be attracted to a guy who has a temper, acts all "pity me" or doesn't love life as much as I do
- looks are important but not nearly as much as when I'm just checking guys out. For instance, a guy isn't the type that I would check him out in a bar, but once I am attracted to him as a person instead of a statue when he smiles at me it doesn't matter what he looks like because emotional attraction is at least 50% of the total attraction.
- another important thing is how he makes ME feel. When we have sex he better smile at me and give me lots of kisses, stuff like that.



When I was in highschool my highschool boyfriend had money and it made me feel really uncomfortable because he used it to try to "win" me. When we fought he'd buy me a gold necklace, ignoring the fact that I absolutely hate gold. He was all about money and flashing it around. I've never dated a guy who made more than me since then, for me a guy with money is a turn off because of past experiences.


But there are lots of girls who can't stand the types of guys I am attracted to...it's so dependent on the girl. I think I would replace Money/Power in Sleazy's original post with "Attitude"...you can fit Money/Power into the attitude category anyway. Sure girls care what a guy looks like but if they're looking for a relationship looks aren't the only thing that matters, it needs to be a fine balance between other things as well. But really isn't it the same thing for guys??

But in seriousness, I'd date a guy who was on the verge of being hideously ugly if he had a good personality. What kind of personality do I like? I like a guy who treats me with respect and respects my opinion, is fun to be around and not serious all the time, but who CAN be serious when it's necessary. I like men who are great with children, family men. I like men who are honest and faithful. And I really love men who have alot in common with me. I'm a nerd at heart and I love anime and science fiction and computers. And I love men who don't have bad tempers, but that's hard to find.

Looks are almost totally unimportant to me. I have dated gorgeous guys and some prety damned ugly ones and I'd take the ones that don't look as good ANY day.

Money? I have money. I'm not rich, but I get by. I couldn't care less how much money a guy makes as long as he isn't going to sit on his ass and mooch off of me forever. :)

One of the many things I've learned in my life is that no matter what you say there will ALWAYS be SOMEONE who doesn't agree with you, and almost invariably there will be someone ready to call you a name because of your differing opinion. Aren't there things in your life that you don't particularly like, but if you had the choice between one bad thing, and something worse, you'd pick the lesser of the two evils? I don't like being called an idiot (who does?), but I'd much rather be called and idiot for sharing my opinion than to say nothing just to avoid it. If I really worried alot about what people thought of me I'd never post on GFY in a million years! I get my feeling hurt just like other people.
