I got the table for the html from the archive. I added an extra column to the mix along with my product, service and price info that I had on my girlfriend's old design site.

Last time I checked, if you want to sell something you should always provide:

Like I said, I contacted you to do the work for me. You couldn't even manage to write a simple yes or no reply. So I fired up Photoshop and took a stab. It wasn't all that difficult...your "style" is nothing more than simple layer effects and text. So simple that even I managed to be able to pump out some equally kickass galleries in no time at all.

Looks like we both have the same style now. Thankfully, I've just hired a full time designer and my girlfriend will also be back working as well. My "fletch-like" galleries will probably now end up as the budget price-point. $10 for a custom gallery that converts should be a nice draw.

PS...I didn't cut and paste anything. What little design skills I do have managed to be enough to put your panties in a twist.

Hey man...that's all he can hammer me for. I don't mind that he's using what I did to drum up some more business for himself.

I did design these galleries in the same style that he does. It's not rocket science.

He uses a simple layout. Some text boxes from time to time. A Text header at the top, one and the bottom and a few in between. It's your standard gallery layout, except for a few photoshopped images, which are nothing more than oversized text, with a gradient and layer stroke. Basic stuff...I could probably teach someone who's never used Photoshop how to build these type galleries in less than an hour.

It may not be rocket science, but its what I do, and Im glad i am moving on to better things.

go back to getting your girlfriend to design galleries in my style, its cool, youre obviously HURTING for cash if thats the case.

I take full credit for these ones as well. I had never done anything in Photoshop before putting these together. It was almost too easy...except for those damn jaggies at the top and bottom of the main tables.

In all honesty though, she'd probably manage to put on a better show than either you or I...so things are looking up here too.

The database's I am selling are updated versions of databases that I have traded for or had put together in the past. I am maintaining them and I will be providing an ongoing update service in the future.

My niche database has had sites deleted, added, fixed and revised, and is in the process of having 3 additional niches added to it, which will be ready by new years.

My databases are mine. Good try though. I have paid for custom databases to be built and have traded using these for others which I have taken the time to maintain. Not because I wanted to sell them, but because I use them on a daily basis.

It was only after fielding a ton of requests after making mention of them in a thread that I decided to sell them.

You'd probably be surprised to know that some of the other AS databases that are available started their life as one of mine

I've never rambled on about proof at all...there isn't any proof because nothing was stolen. Fletch is just upset because someone else can provide the same thing he does at a lower price. A client came to me asking to have some galleries designed. They wanted them a specific way and I delivered. I'm not insulting Fletch's work at all. I went to him to have him take care of my clients needs, but he didn't bother to respond. It's because of that, that I went about doing them myself. They are all 100% original...html and graphic images.

What I am saying is that he's claiming I "stole" his style when his "style" is nothing more than a few simple photoshop effects. I didn't know that being the first to use "drop-shadow" in a gallery design makes Fletch the only one able to do so.

Check out his sig and you'll see why mine is the way it is. I haven't stolen anything, so for him to insinuate that in his sig is just wrong if you ask me. You'll notice that I just added it since this spat has taken off.

I was too lazy to do the layout for my site, so it's just a modified Postnuke theme. The author released it under GPL license and I am free to do with it what I choose. :winkwink:
