Always place a dead battery in the remote when you are not around, no one will even bother with it.

If you are in the room and your wife asks for the remote, quickly push the "vcr" or "cable" button at the top before handing it to her. She will soon come to understand that operating a remote is mans work.

That worked for the longest time in my house, but then she found the manual for the remote control and I can't get the bloody thing off her now.

Luckily, I don't need to, when I'm home and wanting to watch the TV, she's at work. When she's home, I'm working, so I don't really have much time to sit and watch TV.

Time to start adding splitters and switches on the cabling behind the tv then. :thumbsup

We have an agreement, she can do all the interior design she wants, paint the house pink if you want to but don't touch the damn remote!

I wired a 13" tv in the kitchen for her though because I am a good husband :)
