now here's the rules.

1. Video has to be more than 5 seconds and less then 5 mins.

2. All videos must be in MPG or WMV format. No exceptions. Hosting and related costs are the responsibility of contestant.

3. New videos only - video must have been made for this contest.
old clips may be put together for this contest in a new way, but video must be new.

4. Video must say the words GFY or go fuck yourself or show a pic with the words GFY or go fuck yourself in the video at some point. It must be visable to the naked eye - one frame not acceptable.

5. video must be posted to this thread.

6. Payment is by paypal from the individual judges who sponsered the prize money. Winner's responsibility to collect. Payment via paypal.

7. Contest ends feb 29 midnight pacific time. Any movies posted After mignight won't be considered for a prize.

8. You can enter as many movies as you want. Contest entrants assume all liability for video and audio content of their work. Movies are owned by the contestants and judges have no affiliation with them.

also anyone else willing to offer a prize for this or prize money please post to this thread. No new judges will be added though. the 8 judges are now final regardless of any prize any new sponser offers in this thread.

Sky has a really funny thing she does. One night she was eating apples that fell in the backyard, it gave her gas. She never farted out loud before that, I'm sure she's farted, just never made a sound until that day. When I was telling this story to a friend about her sounds, I made a fake fart sound with my mouth, she went crazy and freaked out. So now when I'm messing with her, I make a fart sound and she goes nuts. I'll film it later and enter that in the contest. Too funny.

We should have a valley area webmaster dog park day. That would be fun to see webmasters with their dogs. Helmy has a mini pincher, I've seen him at the dog park a few times.

There is a dog park out in Thousand Oaks, probably too far for the Valley peeps to travel too. Let's start looking for sponsors of the First Annual Webmaster Dogfest. It would be nice to see how some of the people on here interact with their pets.

The middle Husky, Nikki, loves to dig.

She'll start digging. As soon as some dirt from her front paws hits her back paws, she turns around, and barks at the ground like the dirt is attacking her...it is hilarious.

We're in pre-production right now. Still finishing up the script and just starting up the storyboards. Pre-Production should be done by Saturday 21st.

Sunday 22nd we are going to start filming, which shouldn't take more than 8-10 hours if no technical problems occur.

Monday 23rd will be Post-Production. That's when we are going to do all the editing, including sound and video. That should take about two to three days max.

So if everything goes as planned, our film should be finished and online at the latest by February 24th.

We'll keep you guys updated!

I think that if you want this video competition to have some type of good meaning to it, you should have to base it around GFY, not just have someone say "GO FUCK YOURSELF" at the end of the clip....

for some reason the video stalls 1/2 way though for me too.

it has to be made for THIS contest - not for GFY. it has to MENTION GFY.
