That's one of the things that happens to alcoholics.. another interesting thing is.. say a person quits for 2 years.. then goes back to drinking.. the disease of alcoholism progresses throughout that 2 yrs just as if the person never quit |
Now I want a drink, but I have nothing in the house :(

I usually try to drink as much as humanly possible. When ever I do anything it's almost always excessive

i've given up all my major vices.. drugs, drinking, smoking... smoking by far was the hardest thing to stop.. almost a year and i'm still getting strong cravings at times.. |
I think there is one key message,
Because I have been smoking and drinking now for 12 years, I cant compare a drugless life - its been such a long time that I have forgot. The fags, drugs and drink did what they were supposed to have done and let me a escape a mad world. But I have the upmost respect for people who have managed to part company with their addictions. Im trying to quit smoking and also weed, the weed is easy if I dont have the fags, if I have the fags Im screwed. :( 3 weeks was the longest I went not too long ago and that felt great, no head aches, good nights rest healthy. Any how thanks for stopping me for just one moment and making me think about it |
