Nicolai Nucleon 100-140mm travel, Manitou Sherman 130mm, Rohloff Speedhub, and more shebang. All black (my fav. color).

All custom made frame by Kalle Nicolai. Finest in German bike manufacturing.

Over 5500 Euros.

Sorry for those who expected a motorbike. I am just way excited.

Some spend their dough on watches, I dash out insane money on a bike. :)

very good bikes... congrats :)

I went to a wallmart store in the UK and I was going to but one that looks like that for £80 or $160

Right, the price is all about what it looks like.

I'm sure it weighs the same too.

I'm holding on it anyway - until it gets a little bit warmer, then I can start working off some fat

Sorry, but this can only come from someone who has absolutely no clue about bikes. :winkwink:

The Wallmart bike might even be a little lighter than this beast, but it's not nearly as stable, doesn't have remotely the quality of this baby, it doesn't have as much travel, it doesn't have the top-notch components and .... it doesn't cost $6500+ US dollars.

That's a really nice Scott. I have actually looked into the Genius RC10, but the bike was too unstable for my riding technique and my weight. Other than that, it's a top notch allrounder. And the lockout on the back element is pretty nifty, too.

beemk 03-07-2004 09:09 AM

damn thats crazy.... you could have got a motorcycle for that much.

Yes, but that is not something that I do. Beside swimming mtb'ing is my life, I enjoy every crank rotation of it.

Dirt bikes might be cool, but I prefer the dirty manual labour. :Graucho

maxdaname 03-07-2004 09:26 AM

that's a fucked up bike!
