Mexican Judo.

Judo know if I got a gun.
Judo know if I got a knife.
Judo know if I got a club.

Wing Chun, or Jeet Kune Do are the best for any street situations.....

Of course gracie style (brazilian) jui-jitsu is a great one for a ring, or a one on one situation.... but for overall attack damage, and defensable ability for one or more than one attacker, in all street situations (inside, outside, etcc...) this is not as effective of a style.... and one of the two I mentioned would be the way to go...

Grabbling
there you go, that's for the real world

CumSensei 04-06-2004 09:04 AM

I would say shootfighting would be the way to go.

There you will learn all variations of fighting from standing to groundfighting.

But fact always remain...

If you are up against more then 2 persons nothing will help you :)

But then again I trained various stuff for 15 years and I never had to use it.

YOu can always talk your way out of situations. If you wanna learn to fight to acctaully go out and fight then you are thinking wrong.

id say kick boxing.......or kung fu.....

CumSensei 04-06-2004 09:15 AM

Fuck kungfu!
Kung fu are weak!

And it does not work unless you are fighting a bunch of rednecks :)

I took Hap Ki Do for 7 months. I learned so much from it. I STRONGLY recommend you do Hap Ki Do or Aikido. They are both similar in ways. Tae Kwon Do is more of a sport... but in Hap Ki Do, I learned to break peoples arms many many many different ways. I strongly suggest Hap Ki Do. I plan on picking it up next year and getting my black belt.

It is an incredible art.

if those are your only 2 choices, i don't know which would be better

Aikido and Hap Ki Do are both grappling they both have techniques incorporated in them for ground attacks.

What I loved about Hapkido was all the wrist locks and throws. Even to this day, I can wrap people in some seriously painful grabs without thinking of the movements. If I were you, I'd go with that style.

The one thing I loved about Hap Ki Do is that you can't practice it full speed. You'll really fuck some one up in a matter of seconds.

I would suggest you master the art of the trigger finger. Its useful in pulling the trigger in your gun or releasing pepper sprays :BangBang: or if u dont like that, Master the art of giving your wallet to the aggressor or the art of Butt kissing(maybe they'll be annoyed they'll just leave you alone):1orglaugh. Or you could try the ancient secret martial art of "SAYUNACHI" meaning "RUN LIKE HELL!" :1orglaugh

cayne 04-06-2004 11:15 AM

Jui-Jitsu is very good.
And Wushu (but not for self-defense)

delvin123 04-06-2004 11:19 AM

Go on the streets, where you learn real fighting.
