Not only can they be edited, you have no way of proving who was using that computer.

I started this thread to promote a sale on my content site..
Dave jumps on the thread and says derogatory things about me and my business without even knowing who I am!

I defend myself and go after him.. I can't have people saying this type of thing about my business and just let it go.

He icq's me, and is very cagy about what he says..

first he posts all my whois info.. which is complete with home address and phone number, which I allow because I have nothing to hide.

then I ask him if he's trying to scare me..

he then posts my server address.. and asks if I have kids

He goes on to say that if I have kids .. don't I worry?

Dammit... this is scaring me even as I type this


Then when he's called on it.. he denies even icq'ing me?

Don't worry, really. Dave is ALL talk and I don't believe he would ever have the balls to do anything to anyone. That is why he hides on here behind several different screen names. He is a con artist and that is ALL he is. He will say whatever he feels he has to, to cover his ass and make it look as though he is just a nice business guy and everyone is just out to get him.
