Just lock your doors and be done with it...
I hate rude children.... if my kids ever behaved like I would put a strap to their backside. |

Wow, Slick. Your dog would scare the hell out of me, lol!
Whats with the one eye being normal and the other white and red? Is it cataracts or something? Photoshop? Creepy! |
you guys bashing the kids is just silly..its obvioulsy not thier fault they have no direction.. they only want everything they don;t have at their home..and looks like they found it at slicks house..
something is very wrong in their homelife.. definatly talk to the mom..it might not help, but at least you can get a glimpse at why these kids are the way they are:2 cents: |
I agree its a parent issue. I'd do what parents used to do with my brothers and friends and me.
Walk them to their home, stand with them on the doorstep, ring the bell, and let the parents know whats going on and what you expect. It doesnt have to be mean spirited or confrontational. You team up with the parents for the kids benefit, and your peace of mind. |
its a good time for you to buy those German Shepherds, scares the shit out of them
|
Do you have locks on your doors? If so therein lies the answer.
Simply dont provide your 6 year old with a key, everytime he knocks you or your wife stop his friends at the front door. If he keeps coming and going you lay down the law to him as is your parental right & emphasise that he is either in or out. If your neighbours kids go into your yard when they arent supposed to you shout in a loud voice and tell them to piss off. If you cant bring yourself to do that then let them play there & be grateful they arent going to be coming into your office unannounced. Then consider a big fucking fence & gate arrangement.... |
I have had the same problem with the kids in this neighborhood, and finally had to put my foot down. Please just remember it isn't usually the kids fault.....comes from actually wanting to play and be in a place where they know someone is watching and they feel safe. Also, in a place that has boundaries....
Anyway, if you want to stay on your neighbor's good side, the best thing to do is to go over and just explain that you run your own business from home which means you need to keep things running smoothly. Which accounts for all kids out of the house by 8pm to get your kids ready for bed, and why no kids in the house during the day while you are working. That way no one gets their feelings hurt, you don't go bankrupt feeding and entertaining all the neighborhood kids, and you manage to put down some rules that will get you some peace.... |
50 kids that need to be introduced to the working end of a shotgun.

You need to take action RIGHT NOW by talking to their parents (and maybe taking the trampoline down asap will be a good idea). If the parents don't do anything, then you may want to have a talk with the local police and make sure they have your complaint on file.
I'm not saying this to be harsh to the kids, but if those kids ARE bitten by your dog, or they hurt themselves on the trampoline.... (which is VERY easy to do BTW), like, god forbid, they break their neck or something equally long-lasting, then any half-assed lawyer for the parents will take everything you own. This is not the kids fault, but you need to protect yourself ASAP. It's a terrible aspect of our litigious society, and I know people that did not take care, and ended up in terrible trouble because of things like this. I would act fast if I were you... Seriously. . |
Why did you bump this 2004 thread??

funny thing happened to me today, two 10 year old kids ring my door 5pm, im in my boxers working, I open the door and here they are, came to play with my dog(????)
I was like WTF??? |
in this thread is brand new now...
|
Exactly!! If those little hell raisers hurt themselves on the trampoline or push the dog too far, you're SCREWED
How fucking DARE they not leave when told?!?! Why would you stand for that?? Talk to the parents ONE TIME and then file a pfa order Having a pfa looks great for when they hurt themselves on your property It is a clear cut legal signal that they were not allowed on your property I don't know how you aren't more pissed about this - how dare anyone disobey your wishes right in your own home?! Your kids are going to see this and think it's okay to disobey you, too, soon ... you know? |
|
same shit with kids, but after rain season snakes came close to houses, two phone calls to parents about snakes - no kids around :)
if you have no snakes like cobra around - buy some, or find a good reason to scare their parents. tell them that you'r sick etc |
Just tell their parents that you love to have the kids coming over all the time, but you'd like if they could check if there was cars parked on the street and preferred go in the back entrance so it's not that easily visible by the neighbors and others of "interest". Then tell them that everything is cool now your condition is almost under control!
|
or try to ask those kids help you with any home work each time they come - clean house or whatever you need, they'll not come to you any more :)

I would suggest tasty treats but big government won't allow it. Fucking Obama.. |
just be an asshole like me, they won't come over very much
|
there was this viral video a long time ago about a guy who made a motion detecting sprinkler to keep birds out of his pool. they sell them now cheap at like wal-mart.
First solve the backyard problem place motion detecting sprinkler in backyard. Religion is a good fallback also .. explain to the kids parents you have bible study hours best idea though is to find a job with or for your kid. kids hate work , so they will leave and if not you have a good excuse to have them leave.. "its work time , either help or it's time to go" |
Declare yourself a sex offender that will keep em out of your yard.
|
"50" should be a bannable offense :2 cents:

It's the summer the kids should be outdoors, unless its not safe by you.
I think my parents did not allow friends in the house growing up. We just played outdoors... |
