Its about highspeed Internet in Hotels.

Ive never done it. Ive alsways just used dialeup and let my prograners run my sites when im on vacation.

So how do I do it? Do I need to buy some harware for my laptop, or do they give it to ya.

I was once at the Marriot in SanFran and they asked if I wanted highspeed and i said yeah. They gave me this bag of wires and shit. I was confused and and never tried to figure it out.

Can you exlplain to me how it works? They give you somethign at the front dest when you check in and you plug it into the wall and your pc right?

You use thier internet account? Or do i need to get my own before hand? They charge you per min?

Shit i feel like a newbie. I always do the dialup thing when i travel or the Business office option.

Most hotels that give you high speed, alot of times it's wireless. So you just use your laptops wireless card or get one from them and connect.

Some places I have stayed at in San Fran has ethernet connections right on the wall, so you would just need a cable and connect to your card / port.
