those of you who think sleazy is far off the mark, i have news for you -- he isn't.

- dialer pop-ups on "console-free" links, for european "third world" traffic that just cannot be billed by CC, really they just don't have cards, the ongoing myth that some sponsors love so much

- little links at the bottom that lead to the site's home page with 2 clicks max, and no wm ID passed through. Support, members, 2257, and from there it goes to the home page, no WM ID

- HUGE URLs on the banners PLUS the links on the hosted galleries PLUS on the pics and movies. It's TYPE-IT-IN-ALREADY.com, remember TYPE-IT-IN-ALREADY.com, click here to go to TYPE-IT-IN-ALREADY.com (or just type it in wink wink)

- 2 or 3 cross sales PRE-checked on the signup form and really small letters. Surfer sees this, confidence is lost and so is the potential sale

very wise words sleazy - and those who disagree with you are probably part of those companies you mention, or are good friends of someone who is in that company.

not too many would have the guts to speak out like this.

You're not making any sense. Once you've sent the surfer to the page or hosted gallery, your ccbill cookie is in their browser already. You will receive credit.

not always smart when dealing with bookmark traffic. i'd rather make a dollar every month for 10 years then 2 dollars a month for 2 months and burn off my surfers

Not to mention tour pages with a those "free daily pics" email boxe at the botom of the first page and other traffic leaks...

It may well be.. but I am mostly talking about the big programs that use their own software,etc, and if you dont put up webmaster refferal links specifically you'll NEVER see webmaster clicks.

I can think of a couple that do infact give you credit for links on the paysites for webmasters, and one that even has webmaster referral links on their FHG with your codes carried through as well. These get a nice chunk of my traffic. :)

you forgot the ones that have exit links for underage surfers that take them to another adult site... :Graucho

and what if you were mega hot ten years ago but now you're just getting old? does that count as a bad sponsor rep???? :winkwink:
