I posted this a while back and curiousity got the best of me so I did a little research. Here is what I found:
From the USDA Nutritional Fact guide, the 6lbs of ground beef alone contain the following: Calories - 4583 Protein - 433.36 grams Total Fat - 303.81 grams That doesn't include the bread, the mayo, and other ingredients!!! All I can say is, "HOLY SHIT!!!" |

Most will never ever finish one, nor would I see it as becoming a unhealthy habbit for someone.
Guessing it would come in around 6000-7000 calories which sounds like a shit load it is not if you put it into comparision with an average 4-6 course high end meal. (seriously look at them sometime) Nine pounds of ground beef at that price is still one hell of a markup for the place. Not to mention the price offset of all the free publicity they must have gotten. Concern for me would be that it would be either as dry as hell through alot of it or have a very unsafe/undercooked middle. It is the nature of ground beef. |
