Holy shit...

How many domains you run and flood SE's with (and how many doorway pages do you have)?

... no, it's not a stupid thread, not at all.

all the people that run now and get a doorway generator and shit organized forget one essential thing: dedication, it won't work without, but yes, once you have your shit together you can lean back and enjoy the ride, I am still working with my 98 goto inventory keyword list and it is just doing great !!

...thanks for this thread crash.

Hehe good thread crash...it's funny to see people get worked up that there's these huge secrets over blackhat seo and no one should ever tell them. The funny thing is though you could lay your techniques out completely and 99% of webmasters are either too lazy to implement them or too dumb to understand. Also, I'm glad you didn't give away too much info :winkwink:

The secret to SEO is knowledge, nothing more, nothing less. You cant buy the scripts I have, you cant buy the scripts any SEO's have as they are all different. I have 5 good mates who all make serious $$ from SEO'ing, we all talk freely and openly to each other. We all do SEO in different ways and build PR, sites, words and just about everything else in a completely different way. But the information flow between us all keeps us all current. Thats why we all do so well.

We are all comfortable with what we do and how we do it, and openly exchange information with each other, as we do the same thing, just in completely different ways. Yes we trade links and help each other on different ways, but what we all do is so different that we can do this. We all target the same niches - Like I said - OUR techniques are so different the even though we are in the same marketplace, we are so different in our methods and technologies, we can all work together.

For all the SEO wannabe's, there is not set formula, there is no product you can buy, there are no secrets. There are a thousand different ways of doing SEO and doing it well. You just have to figure out your own way, and thats all there is.

The only way to become an SEO is to read everyting there is on the SEO forums, build stuff, see what works and what doesnt. Spend days looking at your stats, yours SERPS, your linking strategies. Build 10 sites a day on different templates, with different links, for different keywords, its the only way. DO that for 2 years and you are an SEO spammer. There is no one who can teach you to become an SEO, and no one who will. I say again, the only way to become an SEO is to work really hard, figure out what you think should be done and test it. When one of your tests makes money, you replicate, adinfinitum, on different words. At theat point you are an SEO.

There is no short cut, no software and no advice anyone can (will) give you, you just have to put the hard yards in.

I completely agree with this. You can learn the basics, you can get tips from other SEO'ers bu the only way you're every going to become a master(if thats even possible) at this craft is by experience and determination and a little luck never hurts. Only idiots are threatened by threads like these. I encourage open discussion about SEO because I know at the end of the day, if we all talk about it.. we'll stand to gain more then we could ever lose.

The only thing I reccomend to anyone else who maybe thinking of starting an SEO thread to help out his/her fellow GFYers is remember, nobody spoon fed you when you were starting out, so dont spoon feed anyone else. No friend is worth it, no amount of money is worth it and you're only creating a monster by doing it. Offering advice and having open conversations is a perfectly healthy thing though and instead of this "there's no money in SEO" business like its some big secret... well, I think thats silly. When its a joke, its funny. But when you're seriously trying to discourage people from learning about it, thats not neccessary.

Good job crash!

Crash Is back

Ive been focussing on non spam, non porn for a while - and decided to drop in and have a look at this thread again, courtesy of a few recent email requests for tutilage concerning it. Im so glad it caused the fuss that it did.

My point of this post is that if you know SEO, you can turn your hand to any online industry sector. I basically sold my 'blackhat' scripts and huge amount of documentation for an undisclosed fee, bought a nice house, spent some quality time with my wife and son, and got on with non porn, non black hat stuff.

My comment to you all is basically, I have just surpassed my best ever $$ day in porn, with revenue comprised totally comprised of non porn sites that are really well SEO'd. The thing I like about it is that I dont ever have to rebuild anything when it gets banned, as it never gets banned. Get your SEO right and traffic and $$, as a general trend, only ever goes up.

Im now totally commercial and am loving it. The work is just as hard - hell, I even have a 50:50 business partner who is really savvy, but the traffic and $$ just goes up all the time, I couldnt be happier.

Based on this, I will answer any reasonable questions on non black hat SEO, as I am way out of date, for the next 30 min.

Q: How does one know whether the site he is trading hardlinks with is regarded as a bad neighbourhood/site?

Q: Is it a bad idea to trade links with sites like these:

radical 05-23-2005 12:08 PM

Thanks for the thread crash (",)

On a further note pple, there's a basic php script running around on another board which can be fine tuned :pimp

I always seem to get listed high on google when optimizing for yahoo and get high on yahoo when optimizing for google lol!! Build, Test and experiment!!!

crash 05-23-2005 12:11 PM

for non porn - my best sponsor is
casino coins
then adsense

i can show you a new site that isnt in our link matrix, that is optimised, that we use to promote gambling www.fastpaypoker.com. That site is the style we are building for corporate, I just havent had time to build it into the link matrix yet, so can show it here.

BigBen 05-23-2005 12:13 PM

Does google ever unban domains after sending reinclusion reqeusts?

FrankHolland 05-23-2005 12:13 PM

Is it possible to just start making like 30 real sites (no black hat) each with their own content and domain.. ALL 30 linking to ONE main website on a NEW domain and good anchor text? so that your main website will get a good ranking in google in a couple of weeks/months for that keyword? or will Google punish you for having that many inbound links from all new sites to your main new site?

I hope you understand my question :)

crash 05-23-2005 12:16 PM

I get the feeling that rad is selling something, but his sentiment is kinda true;) - never buy a script, if you dont know enough to get your own script made, then buying one is a waste of time. Read, learn experiment manually, and soon you will know what you need to automate. Get a decent programmer and a few $$ and you are in business.

FrankHolland 05-23-2005 12:17 PM

And what do you think about blogs right now and in the future?

crash 05-23-2005 12:18 PM

Frank

read my way earlier post on linking, that was my advice then, and it is still my advice now. But you gotta feed PR in there somewhere, how you do that is up to you.

crash 05-23-2005 12:20 PM

ben, reinclusion - no, you just gotta wait it out - could be 1 year, could be 2, could be lifetime. My advice, if you are banned, move on.

fuzzylogic 05-23-2005 12:23 PM

i have not read the thread yet, but i am popping a question so i dont miss u

if i create hundreds, even thousands of highly similar pages, what search engines will look down at this?

my phpnuke site was being spidered and those pages still show up in searches. however, new articles are not being spidered anymore. why?

is cloaking worth it?

Nah it's free crash :)

Script has nothing to do with me, I just know it was floating around there for a while

I know of a few pple that have used it too great effect

Yep all your need is a good programmer :)

crash 05-23-2005 12:23 PM

frank - re blogs, I think blogs are the future, but it is how you manipulate them - for instance dont believe what the BAM script writers say - it doesnt work, I have tested it. The future is RSS IMO, or build a quality blog with your own content, and let it build its own PR, but RSS is my 80% focus for the rest of this year

crash 05-23-2005 12:25 PM

fuzzy - too general, I cant answer - be specific and i will

The Sultan Of Smut 05-23-2005 12:29 PM

What have you found the best keyword density to be, what will obviously get you banned ?

bdld 05-23-2005 12:30 PM

say you have 50 sites, whats the proper way to interlink them? and lets say you dont want to give any preference to any one of the 50 sites.

The Sultan Of Smut 05-23-2005 12:34 PM

Do you use only one 3-4 word phrase or do you also include different forms of the words such as the singular and plural form of a word on the same page? I'm sure you would create a new page but I don't spam the serps and am wanting to know your opinion on optimizing for 'semantic' searches.

crash 05-23-2005 12:35 PM

sultan - i dont consider keyword density - too lazy - as im am not spamming, but i do mod re-write so it is in page URl and I do include it in heading tags.If I were spamming, I go: in url, in h1, and 3 times per 300 words, but that is not good advice as I have been out of spam for 6 months or more

crash 05-23-2005 12:36 PM

bdld - I would never linterlink 50 domains so I dont know

crash 05-23-2005 12:39 PM

sultan - i am corporte world now and my content is auto-generated so I dont acutally consider keyword phrases, the script, whcih scrapes its own content is optimised to place keywords in specific places of the page, but, by the nature of the script, I have no knowledge of what the keword phrase is. Does that make sense?

Hornydog4cooter 05-23-2005 12:40 PM

stuipd question here but what is RSS?

Crash, your right about RSS

I've been looking at it for a while, been on my list to do thngs, create the feeds and add them into other sites (which I won't mention). Seems to be a good way to go :)

X37375787 05-23-2005 12:49 PM

How did the RSS thing work out for you? :)

Do you believe in PR?

X37375787 05-23-2005 12:51 PM

How long for the sandbox to finally release a site?

Can you avoid it with slow BL building?

I remember you had a small blog with a hypnotizing background. :winkwink:
