Draw your own conclusions but unlike this Taboo sleazeball, the real players in the industry are perpetually silent about their business.

Yes of course, only a fool would wish to create more competition for themselves. Especially in the domain name biz.

thanks for the compliment.

and thanks for the free plug. what I plan to do with DomainNews.com is interview owners, buyers, sellers, strategists, vc, etc along with covering latest news, sales, deals, trends etc. I post news and info here on GFY because there are many adult webmasters who also play the domain game, and some purely for development purposes and I'm always looking for like-minds. I do visit other domain forums, but there is so much mis-info & mis-direction flowing there. lots of negative energy because everyone is so fierce and competitive and there's no true networking spirit there. i've seen newbies get lied to, taken advantage of, etc... I have no reason to go to sites like that.

DNJournal.com allready done just about everything you are proposing and and it's huge.

I assume you know what DNJournal is?

It's run by a real reporter too and I read just about everything that comes from there as most do :)

Do they have an asking price or do they want to get it for free from them?

I always link to dnjournal.com if you read my previous threads/post. great resource. my domains have been mentioned there a few times. But I'm approaching the industry from a "different" angle and not necessarily after same target readers. :) nuff said.

:1orglaugh You are so right! But how does this apply when I have told people from the beginning I'm not on a buying spree anymore. only incubation & development now. so perhaps you are worried that I am creating competition for yourself/others?

LOL. you just proved yourself a moron. so, it's your job to come here and post what SLAV owns? I'm sure he'd appreciate that. Don't you understand? I know who SLAV is moron. and why are you bitching so much? what are you afraid of? are you sweating? worried about what? why don't you stand behind your OWN portfolio instead of namedropping, such a wannabe. it seems the people that are so ANGRY are the ones that are the most AFRAID of competition. if you're angry now, wait'll you see what we offer domain players for FREE. keep bitching & moaning. you're just a name-dropping, trolling, drama queen. you truly are pitiful. adding nothing useful, serving no purpose, except to collect dust.

And about Taboo, I think he is giving away excellent info about the domain biz, i'm new in that biz, and let me tell u, it's imposible to find someone willing to share info about the domain biz. Now, thanks to Taboo, i'm learning, having some troubles to find good domains, but learning after all.

So, what's my point??

Taboo, THANK U VERY MUCH MAN.

PS: BTW if u want to invite me to use the software tools and scripts u said in a previous post, i'm ok with that :) :winkwink: :thumbsup

thanks. at least "someone" found the info useful. just keep an eye on DomainNews.com because I'll list the tools/info there first. the tools should be available on... hmmm... I actually haven't decided which domain to use for it yet. :) probably DomainTech.com or DomainGear.com, one or the other.

good luck.

Taboo, how come CD.com has a Buy Now price of JUST 2000?

It would seem it's worth a bit more - based on the type-ins it's sure worth at least twice that.

Six zeros usually indicates a million, not a thousand.

Ahh yes, the joy of learning to read.

The 40-year-old former asbestos remover ran Madonna.com as an adult Web site until the spring of 1999, when he pulled the site....
