I wasn't all that impressed with the E46 M3.... being up in Canada I was spoiled with a ride-along in the Canadian market 95 E36 M3 that came stock with the 286hp euro-spec engine while the US was stuck with the detuned S52.
Thought that the E46 would be similar, or even better... only drove a SMG Cabriolet (was going to get a coupe) and was dissapointed to say the least. Cancelled the order and dropped a cheque off at the Chevy dealership instead... :glugglug The E46 is a gorgeous car though, can't deny the looks. |
I posted this in the car thread, but atleast this is an M3 thread, this is my latest baby! and it's faster then cam's because of the Flange Valve I put on.

Only something like 500 were ever brought to Canada. I think 96 was the market year when the Euro M3 got the 321 hp 3.2L with the 6-spd replacing the 286hp 3.0L 5-spd |

Video: Zero to 150MPH with traction control on. Drop the clutch in 1st, then shift into 2nd. Drop the clutch in 2nd. Not nearly enough torque to break the tires loose. Drop the clutch in 1st, then shift into 3rd. Engine bogs way down. |

Steve Kiene, motherfucker. Among other things, I own the second largest software e-commerce outsourcing company in the world.
Now, tell me why I should give a shit about you, you little punk ass bitch. Quote:

I don''t give a shit what he does on this board. He started this shit and couldn't back it up. Then he backs out with a lame ass excuse that is even bigger bullshit.
He made up the fucking story, plain and simple. Either that or he is a complete fucking moron. Quote:

Why do you care about a mistake over the speed of an m3 so much. |
We'll do over $115M in revenue this year. The next closest will do about $50-$75M. The number one player (Digital River) kicks all our asses with about $850M (although we're growing faster than they are so we're slowly gaining ground).
I've been running this company for 17 years (only the last five have we been doing software e-commerce). We're very profitable and entirely privately owned. I got bored with the software e-commerce business so I took the expertise and experience and am building tools for managing partnerships (i.e. affiliates and advertisers) and handling the coinage from start to finish (i.e. payments from the end user all the way to paying affiliates and collecting from advertisers). The adult industry is leading the curve in this shit so I'll roll it out there first. There are lots of good solutions out there already, but I think I can improve on some of the things and bring some unique things to the table. Plus, my software commerce company already handles shitloads of transactions and we've got a lot of expertise in fraud prevention, not to mention a perfect reputation for paying our customers accurately and on-time. Affiliates don't like getting fucked. Webmasters don't like having their payment processor fuck them, and if you don't know someone, you don't trust them and you could be missing out on revenue opportunities. Bringing a third party in to help manage all of that is a step in the right direction. That's what I'm trying to do. Most of the major e-commerce providers outside the adult industry wouldn't dare step in here. That's just stupid. There is value to provide here and an established company that has an excellent reputation has a chance to find a niche in the adult industry. I've never mentioned this here before because I don't want to hype what isn't available yet. I've just been quietly learning and helping out here and there. I currently work with a few people here and when I've got something that I think will work well for everyone, I'll publicly announce it. Enough said on that subject. I'll talk about it more when it's real. Are those the kind of stats you were looking for? Quote:

I simply said there was no way the M3 could do that. I know because I own one, so I threw in my two cents. AaronM jumped on me and basically said I had my head up my ass. I'm not one to sit there and take shit like that when I am correct, regardless of the issue.
He made it personal and knows he got backed into a corner with a bullshit story and a bullshit cop out. If he had thought for one minute about his claim, he'd have realized there was no fucking way it was believable. I'd love to hear the story in detail. Maybe there is a shred of truth to it and some way, some how, he didn't know the car ended up in 3rd gear. In the meantime he's trying to rip my credibility here and I'm not going to sit still and let it happen. Quote:

Jesus Christ.. Who ever you really are you're fucking crazy. Just to proove a point that really needed no proving and is silly to begin with.. Who the hell are you anyway? Fucking nut job. |
however seeing you redline like that is pretty cool..
but to proove a point like this?? Geeze.. kids will be kids. cock fights of the GFY cocks.. |
That's the beauty of modern engine management. It'll keep the engine within warrantied limits. :-)
I just held the throttle down until the rev limiter kicked in then snapped the pic. I've got a physical (i.e. non digital) pic of my SL600 speed-limited at 155 in 4th gear. I didn't have the balls to take that pic, had to have a friend snap that one. I just like driving fast. Wakes me up in the morning. Crazy was racing a Jag when I was in my Syclone, barrelling down the mountains in Colorado. I couldn't quite keep up with him around the tight corners, but I could catch him on the straights because I was stupider then him (plus, having a big turbo in that mountain air sure helped). :-) So far I've never had an accident. I'm 5% skilled and 95% lucky. I just carefully choose where to push the limits. The most fun I had was getting nailed by a State Patrolman in Western Nebraska going 146 in a 55 in my SL600. He was fucking pissed. He was probably even more pissed when I got out of the ticket with probation and a huge-ass fine. The value of a fine attorney, and the corruptibility of small town courts... I probably should have just kept going when he nailed me, but I had a split second to decide and I chickened out and stopped. Quote:

I used to be like you.. Then i ran into some trouble.. Probably good thing i did.. Mellowed me out a lot. Ya need to chill.. Fucking nuts!! |
i must be the only one on the board that doesnt really like M3's..
not sure why.. I like M5's but the M3 never really liked.. Maybe its that act of repressing the AZN in me or somethin. Too fast and the furious like.. |

My Syclone feels more stable in corners than my Typhoon. I think it's the longer wheelbase. I also think my Syclone sits a little lower than the Typhoon. I've run through the mountains with the Typhoon too and it's not as nice around the curves so I can see what you mean.
