The VISA rebills are being warehoused for the USA clients I believe. If your part of iBill-EU they are running them as normal.

I've never asked iBill about the rebills being sent to the new IBill direct account, I've always just assumed that would be the case. Logically, if that were not, what would be the reason iBill would want to set up iBill Direct since Mastercard transactions continue to be run through the iBill-EU banks?

scardog 10-06-2004 09:33 AM

I was going under the same assumption Scoreman. I am hoping I am not assuming too much. The Ibill Direct setup would be to process new Visa signups for sure. The question is, can they process our rebills too.

I'm more interested in the US revshare payouts. Any word on those?

we assume the same but in this situation i dont think its safe to assume anything. Things seem to be constantly changing over there.

FaberX 10-06-2004 11:10 AM

Does anyone have any further info on this?

------
Attached please find the new ISO agreement and an Overview document. Please note a version of our Complete model, which will not have a set up fee will soon be launched. Please let me know if you have any questions.
----

This was in the email with the new merchant contract, that I'm not going to sign. I've been trying to get a hold of my rep for a while now, could anyone get any clarification on this? Does this mean they are trying to get people to sign up for this merchant acct out of their desperation to get back to visa, and that a week from now they'll go back offering their usual IPSP service?

scardog 10-06-2004 11:22 AM

I think we have to assume our Visa rebills are gone until we hear otherwise. Let us know if you hear anything Scoreman.

Here is the only thing my rep will tell me about this:

"The other option has not been launched yet, it is presently being worked on. As soon as I get more information on this new option, I will gladly update you. "

Nice and vague. I asked for a timeline, and that question was ignored. BTW, I'm not signing the contract either.

MickeyG 10-06-2004 11:43 AM

exactly ibill Direct (merchant acct) is just another product they can offer you while they get it together with ibill complete (3rd party billing).

onceapilgrim 10-06-2004 01:33 PM

well they were supposed to pay today.

has anyone been paid yet?

quiet 10-06-2004 02:20 PM

yes, i got a wire today. it didn't include the EU reserve (there were rumors it might), so i am currently behind by 2 wires.

eisbaer 10-06-2004 03:05 PM

statment for 09/19/2004 for Ibill EU is there. Seemed they paid now. At least it looks like they kept their promise.

Will see if the wire is there tomorrow....

Getting REALLY stupid now !!!!! !!!!

From Ibill Today - -------------------------------------------------------

Hello:

I was notified late last evening that we would need our clients to
submit financials (P&L, Balance Sheet) to Transactional Technologies/Jet
Pay for them to activate their accounts. If the client would prefer to
send that information directly to Transactional Technologies, they will
need to do the following:

1) List the name of the DBA on the financials

2) Submit most recent Profit and Loss

3) Submit most recent Balance Sheet

4) Fax to 972-503-8900

5) Fax to the attention of Carla Prince

6) Place the DBA name on the fax sheet

If you rather do it through iBill, please fax above to this fax #:

1-954-697-0211

and we will include that in your file.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you!

Yeah, it's for the birds. I will not be signing anything with iBill. If I wanted a merchant account, I would have gone through NetBilling NOT iBill.

oldnewbie 10-06-2004 10:20 PM

So Ibill really is making an effort to pay their clients.

This is a good sign. If they were just going to take the money and run, they wouldn't be taking out loans and actually trying to pay monies owed.

I am very interested in seeing when the U.S. clients get what they are owed. At least the chances of being paid seem to be improving.

Thank you, Ibill, for not just shutting your doors and pulling a GloBill. :thumbsup

Netbilling would be a smart move for you. Trust me on that one.

My wire (Ibill EU Payout 9/21) arrived today!

Happy IBill made it (I hope they will survive the US trouble too)

Sophmaster 10-07-2004 10:52 AM

Is anybody have news about when they will start paying what they owes on US side ? (reserve and payout)

quiet 10-07-2004 01:37 PM

anyone else been paid?

TheWylders 10-07-2004 01:59 PM

I talked to my rep today and he said by next week all late payments should be caught up. They are also targeted to introduce the new processing option sometime next week, the one that doesn't cost $1500. This one only costs $375, still pretty shitty considering I've already paid them once this year to accept Visa but whatcha gonna do! I can't afford to set up with CCBill and fork out another $750 but I did take advantage of paycoms sweet deal this week and will be processing with them as soon as visa approves my site :)

3 to 4 years ago when i got our company's merchant account i didn't have to show balance sheets, just projected turn over, in other words the amount ( $) of transactions we would do each month, it was quite simple. I can move our account to Netbilling or Epoch if i wanted and i control CBs and refunds. I don't see the advantage in Ibills deal at all from a financial perspective ? I asked our rep a number of simple questions about this deal on Monday and still no reply's . But no worries CCbill and Epoch are doing well so who needs Ibill ?

.

Shap 10-07-2004 02:47 PM

Everything ibill is asking you to fill out is exactly what is required for a merchant account. Contact mitch and you'll be asked for the same info.

Hi,

You are correct unless a merchant is going for a smaller volume account or mainstream.

Thanks, Mitch

Wow. So that whole thing was a scam? Now, that's why someone from Ibill should be here on these boards reading this thread every day... So they can say, wait a minute, we didn't send that, or whatever.

That's wild. Someone must have a mail list of Ibill webmasters.

tony286 10-07-2004 05:56 PM

Spoke to ibill its from them .

collegeboyslive 10-07-2004 05:56 PM

Ok, so 3 days later , just when I thought everyone at Ibill was permanently ¡§Out to lunch¡¨ I got a phone call from my account rep Adam ( Hi Adam, he does read the boards ) Anyway with regards to the ¡§merchant account¡¨ I put to him a lot of the questions I had seen on the boards. Here are some of his answers:

WHY IS IT ASKING FOR A PERSONAL GARENTEE: That is if you are not incorporated. If you are incorporated you just need to sign the Corporate resolution. (Basically a corporate guarantee)

WILL I HAVE TO PAY $1500: Yes

WILL I HAVE ACCESS TO THE CREDIT CARD DATA: No

SO WHAT DOES IBIL OFFER ME THAT I CANT GET FROM A MERCHNAT ACCOUNT FROM ANAY BANK:

Well we give an ibill guarantee that will ensure you will be approved for this account. Also you wont need to post any security deposit. We will of course offer our gateway interface the same one you are currently using.

WHAT WILL IBILLS FEES BE: the same % as you were playing with the old Ibill complete

I FEEL THAT I AM BEING TAKEN ADVANTAGE OFF AS I ALREADY PAID MY VISA FEE AND THOUGH NO FAULT OF MINE YOU ARE TELLING ME I NOW NEED TO PAY THE $750 PLS ANOTHER FEE TOTALLING $1500 WHAT ABOUT THE FEES I HAVE PAID TO VISA: Because this is a different bank you will have to pay the fees again, that is beyond our control, we are looking into reducing the fees but they look pretty solid right now.

WILL YOU OFFER ANYTHING ELSE: Well we are set to make an announcement on an alternative solution for people now wanting to take advantage of the merchant account, we will be making a press release about that on Monday.

HAVE YOU ACTUALLY MADE ANY PAYOUTS TO EU CLIENTS: Yes we made one yesterday

HOW LONG BEFORE THE USA CLIENTS GET PAID: Soon

HOW IS THIS AFFECTING 900# AND MASTERCARD PAYOUTS: They are still being processed as they go though another bank but payments are being help till we catch up

So there you have it, Just trying to report the facts as I get them, I am stuck in this mess the same as everyone .
Now come look at my video feeds, we have bills to pay ?º

collegeboyslive 10-07-2004 06:00 PM

It would seem from the fact that ibill is now talking about "another solution" that no one or very few are biteing on the "merchant account" that Ibill is offering. lets see what deal they will offer now.

Sophmaster 10-08-2004 08:34 PM

Well another week-end start with no money !

Thanks Ibill !

keyboard warrior 10-08-2004 08:48 PM

so far ibills deal looks like crap.

exactly what I predicted.

quiet 10-09-2004 11:31 PM

bump for someone from ibill to finally post in this thread again...

Morphious 10-11-2004 03:39 PM

Hum - thought we was to have some kind of message about the "new" system ( non dedicated system ) for past rebills?

keyboard warrior 10-11-2004 03:52 PM

Lucky if anyone gets rebills let alone a US payout!

Shoplifter 10-11-2004 03:54 PM

There was supposed to be an update already today:

Another update message will be posted on Monday, October 11, 2004 at 5:00 p.m. EST.

I don't think anyone is taking a holiday today, and we are all waiting on the word.

FaberX 10-11-2004 04:16 PM

I couldn't get a hold of my rep at all during the day, and them not posting when expected is even more of a slap in the face. I'm so pissed off with them so far...

tony286 10-11-2004 04:21 PM

I think they are off today for columbus day, its a bank holiday.

Morphious 10-11-2004 04:26 PM

Has anyone else noticed this - in the CMI , rebills are still being billed every day 9 and they are collecting money from customers for these rebills ( as I have received a few rebill declines (and most have went through ) but the recurring bill log is not moving forward everday????

Does this mean that they are running these users and keeping the funds for these and not paying us?
