Shoplifter 10-04-2004 01:37 PM

I'm reserving comment until the 5pm announcement. But honestly if there are no dates set then I don't know how we can manage this uncertainty. We're trying, but it's screwing up our winter planning.

Why don't you tell me why you doubt their word. Don't try and tell me since they have not paid out yet that they won't do it now. They set a date of Oct 8th so lets see your explanation for your comments.

SHoplifter...I cannot stand anyone who just bitches for the sake of bitching. We are all in the same boat. Either go jump off a bridge or wait to the 8th to see if you get your money.

I never read anything about the 1st. I saw oct 8th.

onceapilgrim 10-04-2004 02:30 PM

Do you really think those thieves are going to pay us this week?

No they'll keep bullshitting and expecting us to take it up the arse like a load of dumbass bitches.

Sophmaster 10-04-2004 02:32 PM

Just wondering Sincity and all others that are very "patient" with Ibill .... Is Ibill your first credit card processor ? and if yes ...do you have more then 17 members ? I look scared and I am scared because we talked about THOUSANDS of dollars ! Understand? The fact of beeing a woman or not as nothing to do with that !

scardog 10-04-2004 02:38 PM

They said they are planning to pay affiliates/EU processors this week. The 8th is when they hope to be processing Visa. The more customers you have with them, the more patient you are likely to be. As goes Ibill, so go your rebills. I am being patient and hoping Ibill get's a break or two, so they can pay, and keep running.

if anyone should be explaining their comments, its you friend. you seem so confident in the face of this calamity that i've wondered a few times now if you weren't anything more than a plant to foster false hope in the webmaster community. you seem to swallow everything they spew out at face value, i take it this will be the first time you've been screwed by a processor? not me, i've been taken down by a few processors who screwed me out of thousands... lets see: transcharge, lancelot, globill...

btw, i don't even use iBill these days for anything, not since the Web900 burn they delivered a few years back... but i have *many* friends who are facing the possibility of being totally out of business over this. i feel for them, but everyone should be realistic. this isn't the first processor turmoil to crop up, surely not the last... i hope everyone gets paid, but i don't have any allusions when it comes to these operations..

Facing the facts would be a good place to start.

collegeboyslive 10-04-2004 04:18 PM

ok the account rep called me back finally.

here are the details of the new service offered:

same % as before ( read 12-15% )
no holds and in your accoun the next day

now here are the descrpencies between the paper i am holding and what the rep told me ( yes the rep seemed confused and is calling me back )

they say " no personal garentees, that ibill will still be garentting it all"
the paperwork wants everything from your HOME and business address to drivers licences and socials AND signing on the line stating you sre FULL personal garentee

they say if you already had a merchant account you are automatically approved.

paperwork says you can be turned down

ibill still wants to handle all chargebacks and "customer service" although in the past customer service usually means them forwardiung a customers e-mail to me to sort out.

IMO if they pay us, and THEY drop the personal garentees it may be worth having as a backup sitting there gathering dust , but at 12-15% for your own merchant account you can get much better deals out there.

If they are doing all the back end and guaranteeing it , its worth it . Having a merchant account is alot of work, its not just collect the money. We had one for our clothing business., I have hold reciepts for over 7 yrs.

whatif_3 10-04-2004 05:09 PM

ibill, my rep has not gotten back to me yet with the answer, but chris mallics post reminded me

if you are no longer going to be able to process my account as an ISPS, are you going to release the Visa credit card information so that i can move it over to epoch or ccbill,if i dont want to get a merchant account with you, or are you going to hold it ransom and force me to get my own merchant account through you?

by the way, thanks for answering my questions earlier

scardog 10-04-2004 05:11 PM

Are the rebills actually portable? If Ibill wanted to, could they give/sell them to another third party biller?

of course, ibill wuold import them into the merchant account that you set up through them, they can do what they want with them

keyboard warrior 10-04-2004 05:23 PM

why would you even stay with ibill if you need your own merchant accout? fuck i would move to ccbill.

I guess you have not been reading the papers and seeing what is happening to the people who ran Enron and the other companies who screwed their shareholders. They would never get away with it.

I am very confident I will get paid. What would be the point in being a plant on a message board. I would not accomplish one thing.

The people running IBILL now had nothing to do with the web900 so to compare the management now VS then makes no sense.

I don't talk english very well so I can't called First Data bank to have their own point of view ! But maybe someone here will be wise enough to call them ....Your have ligitimate rights to do it cuz it's all your money in there . Maybe they have another opinion then Ibill in this case !

Guy, signing a contract for new transactions to be processed through your own merchant account has nothing to do with the money owed to you. How about the royal assfucking they handed you with the First Data fiasco? No Visa for now? 12 to 15% for a merchant account you are responsible for in the end?

Fuckin' A people. :1orglaugh
