400 Ibill NON-Updates


Yup, I noticed the same exact thing...

I also checked the rebills that went through, and guess what, they're VISA cards, not MasterCard...

Atleast they show up in CMI, but it makes we wonder too...

cause I got a Visa decline rebill email today - and the ONLY way they can get a decline is if they are running the cards!

Are they running and collecting on MY rebills, and paying other webmasters with those funds? Cuz they sure as fuck haven't been paying me...

I've also noticed the same, all I can think of is that maybe they are still able to process visa for european surfers... I've noticed quite a few .de email addresses between the few transactions that when thru.

Now, if anyone from ibill is reading this, would be a pretty good time to post and let us know what the heck is going on, you promised an update, my rep promised news regarding ibill complete, and still, you are a no show.

All the ones that have run for me, are US, Japan, and a very few European customers...

I'm still wondering how they're doing it, and if I will ever get paid..

I have not, and will not sign their bullshit contract for the "merchant account", so they're billing my rebills somehow...

Oh well, guess I'll just have to wait and see, since no one from IBill is forthcoming with any information...

Why the hell would anyone even consider something so damned stupid as having some merchant account with a company that can't even run it's business?

I suppose this is another way of:

(a) trying to grasp a client before they jump ship, and

(b) pull some money in quick to cover their asses and be left with "something" to sell the next sad ass who has ambitions of owning iBill.

OK my very real question is:

given that things happen and ignoring the visa mess for a moment. They still got paid for mastercard and they still got paid for checks and they still got paid for 900# sales.

so why havnt we been given a payout of those monies?

after all Ibill HAS received them and is in fact still rebilling them.

I decided to ask my question to ibill here is their reply:

All previous check, 900# and mastercars were handled by first data.

they have switched to a new bank that seems to be able to process these without any new forms being filled out.

Just Spoke to my Rep.

Question 1. How can my rebills be billing and I an get decline emails for US visas.?

Answer - Impossible, we have not had visa in our system for 10 days now.

- so I continued to explain to him that this is impossible and that they would have to authenticate with Visa to rebill decline some one! and that the cmi shows them going through!!!!

Answer, must be some kind of Technical glitch.. Because impossible!

So if ANYONE out there knows of a user that they can contact to have them check there bank records and verify if ibill is processing cards or not ( Please be aware that there is a rumor that they are processing through the Philippines , so Please check for other names as well !!!!! )


Question. - What about the announcement - was to be yesterday! .

Answer. - I just got out of a meeting and we will have an answer on Friday as to weather we are going to do this type of business or scale back our business.


Question - When are the US customers going to be paid, - as I have to pay my rent!

Answer - we are working on it.


Wow all I can say is that the first Q-A took 10 minutes of me explaining to him that there is NO way that some one can be declined , and NOT be authenticated from a Visa account!!!

it could be a last dodge tactic and then close up shop, get all they can before they go under.

I was willing to give them the benefit of the doubt up until the point, that I saw Visa transactions being processed, no payments forth coming, and the "run around" that they have been giving to everyone...

Time for me to jump the sinking ship, on any little piece of floating debris I can find...

Not that it matters at this point, but are they requiring ALL their clients to sign up for ibill direct and pay the additional $1,500.00 in VISA fees, or can clients refuse this?

Believe me, I am VERY unhappy with Ibill right now, but in all fairness:

I just searched through this last weeks worth of credit card rebills in CMI and didn't find any Visa rebills. Only MC and Discover.

And I also didn't find any Visa declines listed.

I also have a theory on the Visa declines others are seeing. It's possible they made it past Ibill's current Visa ban because the decline was already in the works... You know how it usually tries 2 or 3 times, and says something like "rebill declined, will try again on [date]"... Perhaps the declines showing up are simply the ones that were scheduled to retry before Visa was taken out of the system and they just made it through a loophole and went ahead and retried when they were scheduled to.

I don't think so, I spoke with her last Friday, she is (was?) my account rep, after I asked to have a new rep. My original rep was the biggest idiot at ibill, Jim Dunwoody, he's been deserving a pink slip for a long time. If Sylvia is gone, I'm gonna be really sad, she was one of the few nice ppl at ibill

They fired 40 people. Business is down so they had to cut costs. That is the bottom line and it just makes sense. I would do the same thing if I was in the same position.

I would say their are about 150 employees still working their.

They fired 40 employees so you can say they fired 40 dedicated employees.

Now answer this question:

1) If your business was not doing as well as the past couple of months and you knew that if you kept the same amount of employees on your payroll and you knew that next month for example you could not pay them would you still keep them?
