California Pa. is about 50 miles south of Pittsburgh and the report I heard is that the plane crashed 80 miles south of Pitt. and that it was in an unpopulated area so I don't think you need to worry. I will keep my ears open for anything else about that crash though.

As I stated about a zillion posts ago the phone lines to the US from the UK are down. An online friend in the states tried to call my sister and got her answer phone and told her to call my parents (which I am sure she is) and then to email me. I am not too stupid to try to call them!

My mom is a teacher of middle school kids and I would try to call her but she is most likely busy trying to be a teacher and calm down kids - if they have told them at all.
