try being the father of a baby that dies. I would totally lose myself if my son died and yes, he is under a year old. Only 9 months i s along time. The three weeks I have had so far with my wonderful son cannot be replaced.

You must not have kids. I had my first baby and she is only 6 months old and I would be lost without her. She is the best thing that has ever happen to me. She is the one thing in this life that makes me feel like a good person. I do however agree that a baby would not be nearly as hard to get over as a 17 year old would be but it would still be very sad.

Well...I haven't lost a child that had been born, but I've been thru that's about as damn close as you're gonna get.

I can see the difference and not let it get the best of me.
