This is for a gallery right? Not a TGP?

MET ART was around a billion years before FTV.
All the sites like Hegre, FTV, and more or less 100 others got the idea of covers from MET ART, as well as a lot of other things, in some cases TONS of other things. We cannot do a single change, that a week later they implement it as well. We feel stalked at times :-).
First cover was created in 1999, when all these sites did not exist at all. We actually very touchy about this issue...

Best thing is to tour the site a bit, and come up with something nice.
Deadline is 7th of January, or earlier, if someone submits something really gorgeous. Anyone doing an awesome job might also land a stable job with MET. We're opened to anything, and we're always happy to take talents on board. Hey, we know that our design is crap, but after all we're still, by far, the best selling nude site on the planet. Other sites are more flashy, but we actually sell more than anyone. We're really searching for talents, that can interpret our design (crappy!), and make it better, without changing it radically.

Why don't you let all the designers post their submissions in this board, so that we all will know who win. This is the proof!

In the past, they are some "asshole" open a contest, after received designer's private submission, they run away!

I also agree. It also let's the designers see the competition; makes them work harder to beat what has been created. Its in your own best interest.

It's quite amazing that someone ever checks this kind of stuff. Funny.
We changed from Mosteroticteens to MET-ART.com because a lot of photogrphers (really famous ones, not self proclaimed), would not work with us, with that domain name. A lot of models had the same problem. After we changed name, legends, such as Jacques Bourboulon, and Roy Stuart, accepted to publish on MET. Do not forget that several people begged both photographers to publish on the net, but they failed for years, until they both made a short appearance on the web, and then they signed with MET ART. People tend not to understand what it means to have such names on the site. Consumers, on the other hand, understand that very well...

Fine for us, you can post the results her. No problem. Do not forget to CC us your work as well. We would never cheat, as we never did before. We've been around too long to be cheaters. Those are usually short lived.

Just the collest tweak for Firefox

Coolest tweak for Firefox. A Must have!

1. Type "about:config" into the address bar and hit return. Scroll down and look for the following entries:



network.http.pipelining

network.http.proxy.pipelining

network.http.pipelining.maxrequests



Normally the browser will make one request to a web page at a time. When you enable pipelining it will make several at once, which really speeds up page loading.



2. Alter the entries as follows:



Set "network.http.pipelining" to "true"



Set "network.http.proxy.pipelining" to "true"



Set "network.http.pipelining.maxrequests" to some number like 30. This means it will make 30 requests at once.



3. Lastly right-click anywhere and select New-> Integer. Name it "nglayout.initialpaint.delay" and set its value to "0". This value is the amount of time the browser waits before it acts on information it recieves.



If you're using a broadband connection you'll load pages 2-3 times faster now.

We're going to have our own Livecams in January. It's going to be an absolute first for this kind of website.
It should be a VERY BIG deal.

I would put emphasis on the amount of updates (3 to 6 / day) , photos (more than 130.000) , photographers (more than 50 total), models (more than 1250).

Some of our Photographers, are Gods of photography (Jacques Bourboulon, Chris Nikolson, Roy Stuart, Peter Dominic, etc.).
They've been Masters for decades, not 20 minutes, and they're not self proclaimed Masters, the public, and their books made them cult Photographers.
They even publish bootleg books of them in Japan!

Great contest..but honestly man...you could have spread that $1K around to all the different gallery designers and have had a bunch of nice galleries that you could use for quite some time...and then whoever's happened to to convert or worked best with your site you could continue to work with them.

We like to pay nicely. Indeed a good design is worth at least $1000, probably more.
We deeply believe in sharing our growth with contributors.

Dear Referrers, We would like to wish all you you a happy New Year, and give you
an idea of the site's performance for the past year, which is the 6th year of online presence.

It's been another great year for the site. Even with competitors, and clones of all sort,
popping up almost daily, the site increased sales by a staggering 44%. In a year where too many
sites struggled to keep on par. or even lost sales, this is an outstanding result.

Consider that MET has been online for a very long time, but it's drive, not only is not fading, but it's
getting better by the day. Our impression is that the amount of imitators, and similar sites is so vast now, that it causes people to signup for what they know, and has been there forever. It seems that other sites,
rather then growing, eat each other's sales. We've always been convinced that the best offer was a strong, and concentrated one. It's been the right choice.

Referral sales grew by an excellent 59.2%, but they account only for 42.3% of the growth. They're also,
compared to other sites, a smaller percentage of our own sales (31.3%). Referral sales for similar sites range from 40 to 60% of the gross.

A few considerations:
- There's obviously still a lot of room to grow for referrers, if we grow so
much, there's no reason for referrers not to grow equally, or account for 35 to 45% of our sales, like other similar sites.
Of course, in terms of dollars, referrers still sell a lot more for us, given the huge difference in global sales,
but we still believe that there's a lot of room for growth. - The site sells better, and better every year, with not one single drop.
Every single year we had a large growth.

- We're going to expand our promotional tools, we're going to increase the endless number of photographers, and models.
- We're going to introduce, hopefully in January, a new feature that will increase people staying, and rebilling. It's going to be another online premiere for nude websites.

IMPORTANT - We noticed that our monthly membership has an excellent rebill ratio, compared to the trial.
We urge everyone to send customers to the full price tour.
All you need to do is add:

You will also notice that in the regular referral tour, we implemented a new feature to credit you sales, even when customers turn off their cookies,
which happens more, and more. Your referral ID will follow the customer through the site, and to the signup page. This way we increased your chances of not losing the sales. If the
cookie does not work, we will still pass your ID to CCbill. We're going to expand the feature to the regular full price tour as well, in the next days.

We hope you appreciate our effort in guarding your business. This latest change should improve your sales specifically with MET, as no other site with CCbill does that (The change was specifically made on our request).
