As I posted there (on Page 32):

I kind of doubt that Dirty D will repay Shoehorn, unless he does so in an insincere gesture to salvage what's left of his severely damaged reputation.

In looking into past incidents over the years which Dirty D was called out about, it can be seen in retrospect that he openly lied about the situation and manipulated facts, at times outright denying allegations, then only admitting parts of some when confronted with some pretty damning/incriminating evidence, and always attempting to put a spin on things, when not otherwise obfuscating the issue(s).

In regards to the subject at hand (non-payment to his affiliate, Shoehorn), a good debate could have occured. In fact, a few people sided with Dirty D early in the debate (i.e. Robbie, whose wife did a scene with Dirty D).

The overwhelming consensus though has been that Dirty D has an obligation to pay Shoehorn, and if he still believes, as he indicated that he did, that the method Shoehorn used to generate the sells was improper, Dirty D should change his Terms and Conditions to reflect this position.

To my knowledge, he has done neither, even though many people who are friends of Dirty D have implored him to do so. Even people who were ambivelent about the issue being debated, thought Dirty D should pay Shoehorn simply as a smart business move, since it would be a small expense to his bottom line compared to the damage being done to the reputation of himself and his company.

Instead, he has thumbed his nose at nearly everyone.

While it's possible that Dirty D, just by coincidence started a 10-day cruise right as the affiliate pay issue was exploding in his face (and has since mushroomed into several other rather serious allegations), I personally find it implausible that he is incommunicado, particularly when it was shown that he has logged into GFY since the supposed start of his cruise.

In trying to understand the underlying psychology in the thinking of Dirty D, I came up with this:

I'm not a psychologist, so I don't know if indeed Dirty D is psychopathic, but in view of the type of sites he runs (exploiting drug addicts, degrading women, etc), his high risk behavior, and give a fuck attitude, it certainly makes him a candidate to be a psychopath.

Dirty D's issue with Shoehorn is miniscule in relation to all of the other allegations subsequently raised in this thread, such as working with an underage performer, not testing performers, hiring people off the street (again untested), not paying some of the performers, ripping off business associates (the whole Whore Monger rant which contained a multitude of serious issues and shady practices), etc.

Short of providing a full and truthful accounting of all which has been alleged, I would be leary of doing business with Dirty D, even if he would in the near future pay Shoehorn the money which I now believe he is owed (in my first posts I was not sure, now I am), since it would be little more than a hollow gesture from a manipulative person at this late point.
