I feel for ya man. Victoria BC was hit with snow last night, about 4 inches, then around 10pm its starts to rain. The roads over here are freakin terrible! I drive an RSX TypeS and there was no way I was going anywhere last night. Hopefully your insurance will cover it. The guy with the GMC must have really been having a shitty day.

Do you find your implications to be humorous or something?

Get your mind out of the gutter before you end up labeled as a pedophile.

And BTW...God does not exist.

The little bitch should have gone home where it was flat instead of having me take her to her boyfriends house. OH...But she said her mom would pay for the damages....Riiiiight. :thumbsup

Why is it her fault again?

At this point, Donna suggests that we can give her a ride.

Off we go....

Now...The girl fails to tell us that the house that she is directing us to is not her home but her boyfriends....Who happens to live on a hill. Keep in mind that Portland is covered in a sheet of ice.

Long story short.....At one point, we start to slide backwards and there's no way I can control or stop us. We continued to pick up speed until we slammed into the sidewalk sideways. That slowed us down a little but we were still sliding. In the rear view mirror, I see a truck.

Yeah...It was not cool.

So we slammed into this brand new GMC Yukon while the owner was standing right there watching. We were the second car to hit the Yukon yesterday.

At this point, my Jeep was stuck on the sidewalk. No matter what we did, we could not move it. Right now, my Jeep is still up on that hill. It's been there all night. I can't help but wonder how many more people have done the same thing and smashed my ride up even more. :(

In about 5 hours the streets should be clear enough for me to check it out. Pics to follow.

Thankfully I have insurance.

Remember man.. No good deed goes unpunished...

That's too bad. Well, shit happens. :( You just have to choose who to help next time. :thumbsup

You know...Lately you have become quite the moron. Were you always like this or and I am just noticing now?

I never said it was her fault.

My point is that if somebody is kind enough to offer to help you, it might be a nice thing for you to save them some trouble and go home, where you belong, instead of having them endanger themselves and you at the same time. This is going to cost me at least a grand. It would not have cost me a dime if she had gone home....Which is where I thought I was taking her.

God damn there are some ignorant people on this board.

Nice long short story

sicone 01-16-2005 08:44 PM

Sucks ass man, sorry to hear.

As you said you have insurance so it will be taken care of. And things could ahve been worse. Hope the insurance doesnt have too many loops for you to jump through.

fr8 01-16-2005 10:11 PM
