Chuckie's Bride.....the end has that baby squirting out of the bride and into the investigators face!

I think there is a BIG difference between watching a movie at home, where you can turn lights off/on or just pause/turn off the VCR, and watching the very same movie in a big, silent, dark theatre.
The first time I watched The Exorcist in a theatre, I could not get to the end; I left before I shit in my paints. Afterwards, I watched The Exorcist a few times at home (the last time, to see the now uncut scene where Linda Blair slides down the handrail of the stairs). But it will always be the scariest movie to me. |
You've Got Mail! Sleepless in Seattle. Any chick flick with Meg Ryan or Drew Barrymore in it is truly the most horrific cinematic masterpiece. |

Any movie with people floating (standing position). Salem's Lot comes to mind. That kid floating at the window and scratching his nails on the window gave me the creeps.
I wouldn't put my bed next to a window for years. There's another movie with some chick floating after some guy in the woods. God damn that's creepy. |

I'd have to go with the standbys like "The Exorcist" "Nightmare On Elm Street" "Halloween" and "Friday The 13th" (I remember being a kid watching that at the drive in...us kids were in one car and our parents were in the other car...us kids were scared shitless...
I'd also have to add: "Suspiria", "Creepers" (that razorblade carrying monkey fucked me up badly), does anyone else remember that tv-movie called "Trilogy Of Terror" in the 70's? With Karen Black as the woman who gets that little native doll with all the fucking sharp teeth and it comes to life...the scene when she's chasing the doll around the house and drops the knife under the couch and has to reach under and get it as the doll runs under there...I also had a bit of a scare from "Magic" with Anthony Hopkins as the ventriloquist who starts thinking his puppet is alive and controlling him and when he falls in love with Ann Margaret, the bodies start piling up a bit... I also wrote a top ten list for another webmaster resource site with my top ten favorite horror movies...but the oes mentioned here were a bit scarier... I also saw someone mention "Killer Klowns From Outer Space" a pure classic from the Chiodo Brothers... "What are you gonna do with those pies, boys?" hehehe ------------------ Making Bank Make $42 per TRIAL signup with over 100 sites plus webmaster tools like console and doorway generators and more Evil is as evil does Dark Dollars |
I still think Bozley from Charlies Angels was the scarriest character.
Brian John Ritter blew it for me cause i always affiliated him with threes company, but after a while it got good. HEY GEORGIE... That clown still fucks me up... I like AMITYVILLE HORROR The first one..And yes sky i remember seeing friday the 13th in the theatre was scary as hell as a kid.. How about JAWS...And GRIZZLY about the bear.. All good classics..Exorcist rules hands down. |

scariest movie? that is too easy, my second wedding
even though the film was banned in 36 states and 7 countries, watching it just once burned images into my picture tube that necessitated a hazmat team taking the tape, TV and VCR to an undisclosed location to be destroyed. I think they buried it wherever they dispose of medical waste, . . . somewhere in New Jersey ------------------ see me for free hosting of movie galleries, your domain, no banners, full FTP |
Real Life CNN broadcasts are sometimes scarier than any movie... anything about fucked up people like Natural Born Killers is scary...

Definitely The Exorcist!! I like the uncut version better because of that part where Regan comes down the stairs backwards on her hands and feet, and she opens her mouth letting out that growl while blood pours out! Completely fuckin awesome!!

Trilogy of Terror was awesome!!! That Zuni doll was scary as fuck! I picked up a Horror Compilation book, and it had that story in it. I didnt even know it when I bought it, but was happy as hell when I discovered it. Ive been looking for that movie forever. Magic was scary as hell! I forgot all about that movie! ------------------ Machine Webmastercommerce.com |

The Blair Witch Projects whole premise was that it was real. Thats what the selling point of it was when it came out. Obviously those other movies would be very scary if they were real, but they never claimed to be like BWP did. ------------------ Machine Webmastercommerce.com |
