when you say that they don't have to invest in expensive content... you mean because they would be buying DVDs rather than pricier exclusive content?

Affiliate is a webmaster sending joins to some one elses "affiliate program"

If you sent 100 sales a day to flash cash you would be a affiliate doing alot of sales IMHO

:)

About 100/day is a good amount.

But if i can pull about 10/day that would be lovely.

I would love to know what volume BOB makes, maybe a lot more than we think. :)

I would be very happy with 20-30/day.

We do dating traffic, so 200 registrations a day would be good.

I think Naughty America is bigger, they are really huge for a revshare program.

I dont think thats "good" or "great".

If your making 4 million a year , thats FANTASTIC.

Sales mean nothing, your gross means everything.

If your grossing over 50k a year your doing good , over 100k and your doing great. Over a million and you dont even bother reading threads on gfy about sales ... :1orglaugh

gross is nothing Smokey.

100 sales /day (say $20/sale) is easily done by spending $5,000/day.

It's all NET :)

Now can we have those figures again please guys?

Note these stats are for the last 31 days

The top guy on that list is doing 12 signups a day. Sort of gives perspective to the girl who is raking in 2 mil a year and wanted to know if we were all doing that. She is smart enough to make 2 mil a year and too dumb to realize that is good money. What the fuck am i doing wrong?

Steen2 02-13-2005 04:49 PM

And I also sense a large amount of BS in this thread it's hilarious.

10 sales a day is good imo.

People saying 500? Jesus.

.-)

anyway, i sent them around 4 sales a day in one month before two years, and i was webmaster ranking on 25 positon.
i dont think that their top ten webmasters are doing much more, maybe something between 15-30 sales a day (?).
on the other side i would be glad to make such amount of sales a day with all my sponsors :-)

Arguably one of the bigger programs? What?

Steve has mastered his niche, there's no doubt about that, but saying Lightspeed is one of the "bigger programs" is probably stretching it. I doubt they do anything close to what Top Bucks, ARS, APC, Pimp Roll, Silver Cash, or any of the other multi-niche PPS programs do. Those guys are the "bigger programs".

According to all your numbers, as a revshare only program, we are doing a lot of signups per day. :thumbsup

from a sponsors or affiliate's point of view?

The Sultan Of Smut 02-14-2005 01:53 AM

I had an average day yesterday with 10 sales. 25 sales a day would make me happy.

SilverTab 02-14-2005 01:53 AM

hmm depends how much you get paid per signup ;)
I usually get 50 signups or more, but at 3$ per signups :P... (which is still usually more than 150$/day, so i'm quite happy with that....but of course, more would be better..)

ATL_Ryan 02-14-2005 02:15 AM

100 joins a day as an affiliate is pretty normal for me. That is an average day. I have over 200 accounts. Some I send 25 to 50 joins a day some only 1. I've had plenty of 100 join days with a single program. That is only 4.16 joins per hour. I know there are plenty of people sending much more than this. I recently spoke to a large program owner and was told the their biggest affiliate does a solid 150 joins a day everyday. If you are sending to 20 different programs and do 5 joins on each you've got your hundred.

However we have a network of sites I'm sending from and I only get the leftover traffic we don't sell.

Averaging 5 to 6 a day is pretty easy... Get yourself 150K in traded traffic and you can do it as a no brainer with FHG's. Averaging 10 to 12 is a bit harder but possible if you do something else instead of doing the same ole shit every day. 20+ is not so much investing in time worked, but instead in time schooled. Once you've schooled yourself enough that isn't so hard to do.

So stop looking at, hmmm, can I add 40 more hours to my work week and make twice the money? Look at, can I add ZERO hours and still get twice the work done in that time.

What would really be interesting... Would be, if cc bill would put some averages together and have them available. Give some true numbers that webmasters could use as a measuring stick. Numbers without giving names. I think that would help a lot of webmasters.

I used to make it a point to thumb through the payout checks of a 'big name' affiliate program that I was associated with a few years ago. They had in the neighborhood of 15,000 affiliates as I recall, of which perhaps 100 received a check every 2 weeks, and the great bulk of those checks were under $100.

A very few (5 or less) checks were for the 'staggering' amounts you all dream of...

It was a lot easier to make a buck in this biz in those days, so I'd be *really* surprised if so many folks who seem to do nothing but bs on message boards all day are making so much more money today.

Sure, there's a *very* small handful, but a far bigger number of bullshitters...

:2 cents:
