Let me guess, next you will announce that you're going to their houses to wash all their cars by hand!

This is a classy way to close a program down, you don't see it very often.

LOL!! Thanks KK - as you know, these are classy folks running WEG/G3X/Purecash :)

(and no, I won't wash that huge truck of yours!!!)

Thanks for the response Peaches :)

Gotdamn. Didn't y'all just have the bellyflop contest?...Y'all go from sponsoring an event one year to closing the next?

What in the fuck is going on in this industry.

long live the hans!

BradShaw 03-01-2005 06:29 PM

When I close down one day, I am giving no notice. 15 days is a lifetime in internet time.

Brad Mitchell 03-01-2005 06:45 PM

Wish the best of luck to the program owners and the affiliates. I believe PureCash's exit demonstrates a tremendous amount of grace and thoughtfulness.

Cheers,

Brad

Thanks everyone - well, most everyone :winkwink:

It's never easy to make a decision like this and we're doing it in a way that we truly hope will be the most painless for the webmasters. As always, if anyone has any questions or concerns, please hit me, Cory or Gabe up.

And Brad Mitchell - tell Bill to check his ICQ!! :)

jscott 03-01-2005 06:53 PM

Peaches, appreciate the prewarning about the site closing, sucks it's closing but best case scenario for us affiliates is getting let known before hand

much appreciated :)

CybermedAndy 03-01-2005 06:55 PM

Nice to see you guys going out with class, taking care of the affiliates.

I agree. Most would just tell people to take down their links and that would be all that was said.

This is very interesting.

Luke sent out a message a while back saying he's no longer with Hi-Rise.

So will you be transfering your best converting purecash pay sites to wegcash?

andrej_NDC 03-01-2005 07:39 PM

I really do like the way you close the program, but as asked many times before, why dont you sell it? Its like to buy a new car and then just destroy it after few years instead of selling it. :)

pornstar2pac 03-01-2005 07:44 PM

take care MikeAI. hope all goes well with your mainstream ventures

nojob 03-01-2005 07:52 PM

sorry to hear that.

Chris 03-01-2005 09:23 PM

with all the " why not sell " comments .. I am sure it has something to do with the fact it was oned by TWO parties and im sure the other party would have to agree and would end up just being a hassle to sell off theprogram

Dcat 03-01-2005 09:50 PM

hmm... Sorry to hear that PureCash is closing its doors.

Does that mean MikeAI is heading out of the biz?

I'll always remember those funny ass PureCash promo videos they used to do. The one with the Brad Shaw interview was great, and the others with Mark Mateo from Chat Room Romeo were freak'n HALARIOUS! :1orglaugh

rowan 03-02-2005 07:09 PM

bump

received my notification email about 30 mins ago...

The program closes in <12 days, why is there such a rush to get it off the planet?

sherie 03-02-2005 08:28 PM

Where is my boy Luke gonna be?

baddog 03-02-2005 10:21 PM

Pretty generous serverance package I think

makefuckingmoney 03-02-2005 11:07 PM

Great program..great people..

I hope all goes well..

Pornwolf 03-02-2005 11:18 PM

I can't understand why the leaving party didn't just sell to the other side. Plenty of guys already own 3 and 4 programs without webmasters ever noticing the difference.

Phoenix 03-02-2005 11:34 PM

Good luck to all those at Purecash.

Lensman 03-02-2005 11:45 PM

Wow, what a bombshell. Best of luck to Mike and the rest.

Yes, thats what i have heard....i didnt know that Purecash is closing down until yesterday from the boards....I dont know anyone from this company but heard they are good people and had a great program. I am really curious on to what happened? But sad to hear or maybe was for the best if they have made that decision. Good luck and wish you the best with your next project. I hate seeing programs close...not a good thing. Loss is loss and i am sure it hurts those who had the investments.

Rui 03-03-2005 04:43 AM

I also think you could sell it to somebody else instead shutting it down...but like Kimmykim said at least you are going to close it in a classy way.

whodarkman 03-03-2005 08:38 AM

We're not going anywhere - if you're looking for a great program to send traffic to. Up to $35 payout no $1 trial sign ups.

Lace 03-03-2005 08:46 AM

Yes you will absolutely be receiving your money. It doesn't matter if your are owed $10,000 or 25 cents we will pay be paying all monies owed. Payouts are going to continue according to the normal PureCash pay schedule, this means the period that ends midnight 3/14/2005 will be made on or about 3/28/2005.

On a side note, thank you for all of the kind words with regard to our handling of the closing of PureCash. For those of you that have inquired why we have chosen to close the program in this manner, suffice to say the decision was not made easily nor taken lightly. We will not however be going into the specifics of why this move was made, it was very simply a business decision made in the best interests of both parties involved. No big conspiracy at play here, sorry to dissapoint on that front :winkwink:

For those affiliates that have been directly affected by this, please do not hesitate to contact [email protected] . We are committed to providing you any assistance we can.

Christian
