I don't care what any of the nay sayers can come up with, there was no better value for your advertising dollar. When I left Mogul Networks, Content Lotto pretty much died. The one thing that CL did for me personally was to make me very well known, and I made a lot of great contacts. It helped a lot when JenC and I decided to launch ContentShopper which is a searchable database of content providers. As I had developed a relationship with some of the biggest content providers in the business it gave me a head start with who to approach to get listed in our database. Webmasters are now able to come to ContentShopper and shop around at many content providers without having to register unless they decide to make a purchase. It is free to use, and a real time saver. |

Mogul was a pretty good programmer, so he started to write a script for me to help make my job easier. Every time he would provide a new feature, I would ask for something else. Eventually we had a product that we could sell to webmasters, and we called it SiteMogul. It was the first auto submitter. I could run the program 10 times a month and get a million uniques, with ease. Shortly afterwards other auto submits started coming out, but none of them really compared to the ease of using SiteMogul. Unfortunately, that same server crash that killed the MGPs caused the demise of SiteMogul (it was server based), and since there was so much competition out there, we let them have it. If I still had access to that script I would TGP more frequently, simply because it was so easy to use. Even sites that did not allow auto-submitters like TGSW, would allow SiteMogul . . . except for thehun. . . . he never did like that program for some reason. |

By the time I hit the 6th grade I knew I needed to do something if I wanted to own anything decent, so I got a paper route. The first month I was named carrier of the month for doubling the number of subscribers on my route. So, 6th grade is like 11 or 12? |

Great interview really man. You have a quite diversified background and it is very interesting. I love the way you came into adult though. All good things happen in the most unusual ways. |

If you had to choose:
1) Work at Wal Mart and you can continue biking 2) Work in Adult but you must never own or ride a motor bike again What do you choose? |

Nice question, hehe. Curious to see answer. |

b) Back in the 70's I had a friend that had a knack for hooking up with people that would take world tours and he would stay at their homes out in the Valley. Friday and Saturday evenings he would throw swingers parties. It was great fun. There were also the trains that we would pull on a couple different nymphos. I came of age in the 70's, things were a lot different then. So to answer that question, yes. c) Hasn't everyone? |
Great interview.

These days I may have an occasional toke or drink, but I like being in control. People go to conventions and gatherings for different reasons. I go to conduct business, other people go to party. I don't feel it is in my best interest to go to a gathering and get fucked up, because I don't feel that will give clients or potential clients confidence that I will give them the service they deserve and should expect. For those that go to party, I am the last person to get judgmental. The only thing I say is don't drive. |
Great interview
I never knew you were str8tguy on 69 spot! Wow you learn something new everyday |

That's a no brainer. The pc and laptop would be turned off. Riding has been in my blood and part of me for too long. Put it this way, I have had friends killed and maimed. I have been maimed. The thought of giving up bikes has never even crossed my mind. I remember when I was going thru my last divorce. I was doing some work for a Family Law attorney. I had been representing myself, and doing okay . . . so far, but I had not been in the courtroom yet, and I saw an opportunity to possibly get some help. I offered to do the work for the attorney for free in exchange for a little help with my case. When he told me I would have to give up being a biker if I wanted to have any luck in court, I picked up my tools and left. I didn't want his money or his advice. It simply wasn't an option. |

Good questions. |
Wow, i would have really loved to live in the days without the AIDS. Nowadays, i am more afraid of catching HIV than ever. I made my gf get tested and i got tested too, gives me a great sense of security and i do not plan on leaving her to go wondering into some unknown forrest.
I have never took a puff of anything in my life let alone drugs. It is another one of those things i am terrified off. Many have their experiences, and that only makes your background even MORE interesting Baddog. I also agree with you, people, when you are wasted, DO NOT DRIVE!! Great interview overal. :thumbsup |
Hey Lloyd, I'm still going to visit CET's dad and step-mom on the 15th. We still up for that ride?
God knows I need it. |

I guess there are a few people that were not aware of that. I was partying with Cyndalie at WAW and she said she was thinking of opening a site of webmaster trivia, and she thought that would be a great one :) |

If I was to start biking now what bike would you recommend for a complete novice?
|
Well, that was a long day. I hope I did not bore you guys too much.
All thanks to SleazyDream for including me in his Ambush Interview and if anyone else has any questions, feel free to add them and See Sig. |

Without knowing how old you are, or what size you are, I would have to suggest a dirt bike, so you can learn to handle them without having to deal with cars and trucks. I had several years of dirt riding experience before I hit the streets. When it comes to street bikes, I have to give my love to Harley-Davidson (big surprise there, I am sure). Harleys may not be as fast as some of the rice grinders out there, but they keep on going. I use the analogy of H-D vs rice with the difference between a Ronson lighter and a Bic lighter. The Ronson you will change flints, add fluid and they last forever. The Bic you use up and throw away. Another thing. Take a road trip from LA to Daytona Beach on a rice grinder. Then ride from Daytona to LA on a Harley. I can guarantee which trip will be the most fun. |
Besides, there's nothing quite like the sensation of a Harley between your legs. *purr*
