She drinks LOTS of milk and eats lots of calcium rich foods.
:-) Doctor said it was just bad luck as to how she stepped on it
at the speed she was going.

The handbrake was in use when she stopped. She used it and went to the side, stepping to stop and it broke. Inertia in effect. Pure science at this
point..... Mass * Speed = Broken leg.

She speaks spanish and japanese, but plays ALOT. :-) Thanks for the compliments. She knows spanish because my wife is Colombian and Japanese because of school (its a part of Kindergarten at LJCDS). :-)

There is so much support for her here, I am so happy that you all care so much. Really, I am impressed at the comments I have seen here.

You all Rock!

A BLINGGED out CHEERS to all of you!

Im guessing about 55k. :-(

55k??? Holly shit!!! That's why I didn't move to the USA when I was able to. Here in Russia such a kind of treatment will cost exactly ZERO bucks...

videopass-chick 03-03-2005 01:44 PM

I hope she gets better soon.

sweetME 03-03-2005 01:45 PM

gangbangjoe 03-03-2005 01:45 PM

One more thing however... I know that some average US family has about $35k/year income. So how is that possible for such an average family to cure a child in similar case? I just don't understand that. If the people don't have those $55k, how they could pay? Or their child just won't get a necessary treatment??? Sorry for this offtopic, but the USA seem to be a really wild country on my opinion...

There is no way the expenses for her broken leg are going to equal $185K. That number was made up.

I know you don't care about the dollars SI, but please...

Hope your daughter recovers soon and her spirits are lifted sooner.

:)

hope is not a right word IMHO because she will be ok for sure!

SplitInfinity 03-03-2005 02:11 PM

Thats the number the ER told us.
Thats the number IF she needs pins and all that stuff put in.
So if anyone made it up, it was the ER. :-)

My daughter broker her leg in two places. She is 6 years old so this is a major problem and I have been tied up in the hospital with her and the rest of my family.

You can always reach our office for support and help, technical and otherwise. However if you try to reach me personally about something,
thats why Im not readily available right now. :-)

Should anyone need to get me, try my cell 619-227-8845
and I will have it with me at all times as usual.

Sad news. Hopefully she'll recover fully and quickly, kids bones heal fast.

My old neighbors kid tried to stop or turn fast on her skooter and hurled herself into their mailbox. Them things are dangerous for youngsters.

xxxgeneration 03-03-2005 02:36 PM

My best to your daughter! Hope she heals quick! Summer is coming!

How much did she ask for it? Did it sell at asking price?

On a serious note that sucks :(
