you make less and less sense everytime you post. i am not and did not say that no one should have or should not have worried about them. i am saying that what they were when they started and what they were when they ended are two entirely different things. you post implies they are not. the fact is that they started as a student movement and evolved over time to become a fighting force, an army and eventually the rulers of the country. any referrence to the "taliban" should be looked at with in the proper perspective... particularly when you are trying to assign blame for their existence and rise to power.
should every government worry about every student organization thinking that they will one day overthrow the government, take control of the country and impose some sort of ultra fundamentalist, theocratic government on its citizens while becoming an exporter of terrorism and harboring one of the worlds most wanted terrorists? or would you be one of the first people crying that "Bush" or anyone in government for that matter is doing nothing but trying to trample on freedoms and suppress free speach and freedom of expression by showing concern? my guess is that you would be the latter because you are nothing more than a whining bitch looking for somewhere to direct your paranoia and insecurities about all the things you do not like in the world, don't understand and cannot control.
the problem with liberals is that you are driven by emotion, not logic. the problem with conservatives is that they are primarily driven by logic and less emotion. the problem with most people is the failure to understand that both views not only can be valid and correct, but are necessary and healthy to a democracy.
