I am a newbie to the Adult picture porn arena however I'm running an Adult Toy Store which is pulling in. I don't know about the experience needed for TGP and so on. There is money to be made selling toys and dvd's.

Nobody makes money in this business. This board is such bullshit, feeding on the hopes of innocent people. I run an AVC site,or I run a TGP site, or I run a rip-off dialer thingy. Do you really think you can make money by being paid .35 a minute? 50/50 partnership? From what I hear, these big companies give you more like 99/1 % partnership. Big Business is Big Business. How do you think Don Lapree makes so much money? Is it off of the common people getting rich? NO! it's off of New people thinking that they are going to make some money......and lose everything! I won't judge anyone else or tell anyone else what to do, but I do think being a kid is rough enough nowadays without laying unnecessary burdens on them. After all, one can always sell nonadult stuff like blueprints for birdfeeders or how-to booklets of various kinds. I'm 54 now, and I would NEVER have gotten into the adult biz while my daughter was still in school and had to face her classmates with questions about what her daddy does for a living. I'm in no way ashamed of what I do, but I think the adult business and any exposure to it is an adult matter and not for kids.

Why not make a few non-adult sites to cover? I did. I have a pile of non-adult sites, from web-design services to personal home pages, and I now actually make a bit of $$ from them e-vennnn. The adult part of my network is just that...a PART of my business, and nothing more. Kids don't have to know that it's 90% of the income, neither do moms. What I see in a lot of responses is that, were I to adopte the "solutions" I've heard, I would be keeping part of my life a secret and I'd be involving my kids in keeping the secret by either lying or being less than truthful with them, and I'd be involving them in the decption as well. Now, if there are any licensed therapists in the group, they'll be feeling a little bit of "Hmm, this almost sounds like a dysfunctional family like an alcoholic might have."
