I only needed a 1 credit gym class in my senior year. After I got that credit I started skipping and they kicked me out for 3 days. I worked a deal with the school to go to college my last semester instead of high school. I enrolled in college fulltime, took my schedule to the high school, they cut me loose until graduation, I went back to the college and dropped all the classes except for a couple of self-study courses. I graduated high school with the rest of my class.

With a 4.0 you should be smart enough to come up with something like that so you can still get the diploma and not deal with the high school BS.

Good luck.

Go to school,
go to church,
get a job,
get married
Have children

You must be an over achiever to have a 4.0 average...as you are deficient in intelligence and certainly in common sense. Go back to school kid...including attending University.

Biggy2 04-11-2005 11:57 AM

I remember working for Like Whoa 2 years ago, and in the office hearing a couple of the guys tell me what a fool I was for going to college. Later when I worked there, I saw one of those guys, 40 years old or so, alone in his life, and a complete failure, bumping lines of coke.

Get your ass back in school, chances are you arent going to be doing online porn forever. And without a college degree, nonetheless a HS degree, it will be very hard to get far in life.

Furious_Female 04-11-2005 12:00 PM

I quit school in 9th grade and I don't regret it. I even failed 8th grade twice... not because I was incapable of passing, but because I missed so much school and didn't participate when I was there; I'd get straight zeroes haha. I started kindergarten when I was 4 and hated it from day one. I was a lot more arrogant and confident back then, but education doesn't begin with or stop in a formal setting.

By the way, I do fairly well at generating income. :winkwink:

webair 04-11-2005 12:15 PM

High school is useless, besides the social part. You don't get a real education there. You may as well take the time off, do some traveling, educate yourself, and find out who you really are. If you want to continue your education, go to college. You're a mature student at the age of 21 where I live, no high school required. That fact alone proves how useless high school is.

Anyway that's just my :2 cents: , for what it's worth.

Idiot. High school is also about the high school diploma too.

Depending on your background, some companies will reject you just because you didn't receive your high school diploma.

Not really.

It's easy to take all the low classes and pass with a 4.0 UW GPA.

depending on how smart you are good for you, i dont care what any of these people say.

99% cant survive without it but if you feel you can do better off without give it a shot, but dont ever count out going back it may help you.

high school held me back for years, the day i got out was the greatest day of my life. i havent used a single thing i learnt after grade 4 in school.

Dildozer 04-11-2005 05:28 PM

No matter how much money you make you'll mostly be a dumbass uneducated loser in a lot of people's book and most of them will be right too.

school isnt for everyone and it is definitely not the deciding factor on wether you will be successfull. theres plenty of people who quit school and made it big, plenty of people who quit school and are broke as fuck and plenty of people who are educated professionals and still live paycheck to paycheck.

Thats true, I didnt exactly drop out of high school as much as i was kicked out and right now im doing better than anybody else in my family but its safe to say that 90% of the people who drop out of highschool will end up becoming nothing. I hate to say it but its just the honest truth.

I agree completely. School gives people an incentive to become successful. It changes lazy people to productive thinkers. I don't need school to bring the best out of me.

The problem is that when you go and try to get another job whoever is hiring isnt going to care that you say you can do this and that and had a 4.0 before you dropped out because behind you there will be 10 other people who also had a high gpa and went off to college and got a degree in something. Its just a stupid piece of paper but thats all some companies will take seriously. You obviously already made your choice so you better be sure to keep a reserve of about $50,000 in case some bullshit comes up and your sites fail for one reason or another. And they could fail from anything as simple as a ddos or somebody else fucking you over. Ibill managed to put a very nice dent into many people's pockets.

You are a class A idiot if you believe that.

I know people with Masters degrees that have trouble finding good jobs, you think your better than they are?

If so that just proves why you need to go back to school and continue your education.

FYI - People like us (educated) laugh at dumbasses like you because we know what your in for and we know better. You'll see one day. :1orglaugh

I'm well educated myself and I tend to disagree. While I agree that school is a must for 99% of the population if they want to be intelligent and successful, perhaps even 99.9%, some people don't need formal education. Some of the greatest minds of all time didn't go to high school, Einstein being the most glaringly obvious but he's no exception. One of the wealthiest men in Canadian history, Israel Asper, who was basically Canada's Rupert Murdoch with a little less evil, didn't go to college. It really depends on the person. If you're intelligent, you can get as good an education just by reading and traveling as you can in any school. Some of the best authors had little education. Anyway that's just :2 cents: .

wargames 04-11-2005 07:17 PM

Go back before you have any regrets.

Baal 04-11-2005 07:42 PM

A HS or College diploma isn't about being smart or what you learned. It's about finishing what you start, and about the ability to achieve a goal.

I can't tell you how many smart people I've worked with who weren't able to finish any project. They were useless even though they were smart. A degree, on whatever level, at least proves that you can set goals and follow through.

Finish the goal. Just because you believe that you are smart doesn't mean that you are wise.

xxxice 04-11-2005 07:43 PM

Kindergarten was tough for me as well according to my parents, but high school was a breeze. Any one who quits school with a 4.0 GPA level is stupid since most schools below college level factor GPA with absences and participation. :)

nofx 04-11-2005 07:54 PM

do whatever makes you happy man

but i would say go make for 3 more months so at least you have a hs diploma

fuck it after that

High school is such bullshit overall

Lt. Space Dingo 04-11-2005 08:06 PM

You're too immature to realize and accept that life is lined with hoops. You couldn't muster the strength to jump through the first one.

Those that prosper sans some sort of degree constitute a minority of the labor force. Are you one of them? Maybe, so good luck.

I would think you need the SAT's done before you graduate so taht you can start applying to colleges.

Yes, it's "dumbass" to question why three months of high school are wasted. You didn't just say SAT's did you? You said exams as well, if I read correctly. Perhaps that's a problem with the system, you've never wondered why they waste 3 months of everyone's time?

You're a product of the American education system I'm guessing?

I don't know about all of that, but I might quit my job at Kohls department store next week. It's an enlightening feeling to know that the things that are holding you back in life can be extracted without a bad side. When I sit at my computer, I learn more and make more money than I ever will in school. If I could honestly say to myself that school is what will make me a success in life, then I'd be lying because success is subjective. If I'm picking cans off of a street and happy while I'm doing it, I'm more successfull than any cocky porn webmaster with alot of cash and small dick.

sickkittens 04-12-2005 08:53 AM

Why not just finish? It's not like you have to do anything.

xiando 04-12-2005 09:43 AM

Go back to school! You can get a real education by playing with your computer at any point later in your life, what is the rush for doing that? Just wait the small 3 months and then do the computer thingy..! Seriously. School papers are very handy to have.

Exactly. I refuse to accept this highly accepted American value. I'm the kind of person that works as hard as I am able to for the same wages as the man beside me. There is nothing wrong with exchanging Three months of doing nothing and gaining a paper that means something only to others, but not yourself.
