I think Siccash should credit him back the join for bringing them all this free promo

A. For showing us how tight a ship they are running
B. For showing us all how good the fraud detection is in executive stats

But, this wasn't HIM who signed up under this account so I don't agree with that decision (IF, all the facts presented are accurate). If it became habitual that all of his "Friends" signed up, then I'd be less sympathetic and understand entirely. I think over one signup, that's a little premature.

If one of my friends asks me for a password to a site, I'll bloody well send them a referral code too, from a BUNCH of sites. That's what we're in the business of doing.

I wouldn't sign up MYSELF using my own, but I'm not gonna throw money out the window either.

There's a chance this person could stay a member for 6 months. OR, cancel after a day. That's the chance we take with every surfer we send to a site.

P.S. I'll be in Montreal about noon tomorrow Greg, so you can kick my ass upon arrival. :winkwink:

exactly, this guys friend buys a membership using his ref code without his knowledge and now hes a scammer?

makes no sense to me. :upsidedow

Snake Doctor 05-04-2005 01:14 PM

Phatzane, show them your "O" face and see if they'll give you the money then :1orglaugh :1orglaugh

Shok, you're really pushing your luck here man. Phatzane is going to have you kidnapped and whipped with extension cords. Soon the threats of "Come to downtown Vancouver and holla at me" will soon fly.

Shok 05-04-2005 01:22 PM

I'm still waiting for my lawsuit, to get beat up at a webmaster show, AND for him to show up at my house and beat me up.

WarChild 05-04-2005 02:33 PM

Bahahaha poor Phatzane, now that he's not getting that $20 his monthly income has fallen by at least half.

I'm sure Sic Cash will miss your hits, both of them.

Fucking gay porn bad puppy tool.

kristin 05-04-2005 02:34 PM

One company contacted someone for converting too good and inquired about fraud ... They were converting 1:70 and just happen to be doing well and the guy that they accused has been in the industry for at least 5 years to my knowledge. That being said, I'd make damn sure one of my webmasters was actually fraud before accusing or even asking. I would be insulted if I were a webmaster that was converting well for a program and without proper investigation accused of fraud.

Phatzane isn't a webmaster, he's a sawed off tool.

I was contacted by a rep once because my conversion ratio (as he put it) was just sick.
1 in 5 or 1 in 10 or something like that.

They'd forgotten that I was hosting the tour and linking to their join page, since they geo-targeted the tour this was the only way I could get the hun to list the gallery.

Had I not known this rep for years, if I was just another nubmer on a spreadsheet, I probably would have gotten canned for fraud also.

Nate-MM2 05-04-2005 03:04 PM

I got canned from SicCash on straight PPC traffic.

Brad could have done more than just cancel that sale, he was being nice.

he didn't sign up by himself though

some of his friends did and he didnt even know about that

thats how i read it

polish_aristocrat 05-04-2005 03:10 PM

phatzaneŽ 05-04-2005 03:38 PM

all i know is, the first time someone has a problem with their shitty cash program, they will remember my thread, as well as all the other ones on the other boards calling siccash scamming, shaving snakes. in case you missed it, im the one who told greg to close my account. i dont want to be associated with siccash anyway. the only reason i signed up was to promote my website credits list.

ive hated brad shaws fat ass since the day i met him, i wouldnt even eat his pizza in phoenix after i found out he paid for it lol...

now this proves just how dishonest the rest of his company is. noone has tried to resolve this or help me, just turn around and point their fingers at the accuser because im running this elaborate scheme involving $1 free trials, right?

who the f*ck cares about siccash anyway LOL a bunch of garbage reality sites they cant update and a bunch of dirty gay porn...damn im missing out guys....

i can see how their fraud monitor went off, considering ive NEVER sold a membership to their shitty sites in my life! only program im signed up that ive never recieved a cheque from lol......like i said keep your $20....

as for huggles..... :1orglaugh

all i ever hear from people is how he is a nobody and a joke and a waste of my effort...people in person not a screen name, carebear :thumbsup

Kimmykim 05-04-2005 03:41 PM

You had 1 hit, 1 sale, an immediate cancellation, AND you admitted you knew the person who signed up, even if only minimally?

Do we have that part right so far?

Hmmm. I didn't see the one HIT part. If that was the very first hit ever sent and it generated a sale, then I'd say Greg was more than justified in inquiring.

Note-I've also had traffic trickles that would result in a 1:1 ratio, but never the VERY first hit sent to a program. That would certainly set off a red flag immediately.

That doesn't even make sense. Nobody that knows Huggles would tell you anything other than "forget about it Zane, you won't be able to do shit". Truth, try it sometime.

Next idiot.

How did it go from:

"I'm suing you for slander and libel"

"I'm going to kick your ass at the Lightspeed road show"

"I have your home address"

So I never got sued.

I never got beat up.

Nobody ever showed up at my house.

...and finally, after all this time, you say I'm not worth your time. So basically, you're all talk, and no action.

Who are all these people that say I'm a nobody and a joke? I bet you can't name even one of them because if you did, you'd be lying.

Hopefully you will continue to alienate yourself from programs and program owners, so eventually nobody in the online adult business will think of you as anything but a total loser that they won't hire.

I for one, will not promote sites that you've starred in. I only make 10-25 sales a day or so, so yes, I'm a small fish. However, there are many small fish like me out there that I know who think you are a tool. Eventually if enough people think you are a tool and people know that affliates and site owners don't like you, content producers will see that you are a liability and not hire you.

Tool!

Truth is as alien to Phatzane as showing up for my ass kicking. Shit, what's a guy gotta do these days to get beat up, sued, or my car vandalized?

Content should not be allowed to use keyboards!

Greg wouldnt contact you if he didn't really believe something was up (not saying it was). He is very experienced on it, but everyone makes mistakes and wrong assumptions. You would had my support on this if you were dealing with some nutcase guy, but that's not the case. If you had acted more professional we wouldn't read your thread now.....

i understand this is the wrong way at dealing with an unfortunate misunderstanding, but its just as wrong as sending someone an email basically accusing them of fraud, and not to do it again etc... without even talking to me...

Shok from Siccash already stated that he wanted to can my account, no questions asked. seriously, what company does that? :disgust

Normal webmaster method:

Email Shok back, explain everything that happened, laugh off the $20, both parties are still amicable ( Phatzane, www.dictionary.com if you have to look it up )

Phatzane method:

Take it to the boards, give up the account, whine over $20, call Brad Shaw names, call Siccash a shitty program, alienate yourself further from webmasters here, look like a tool that freaks out over something that wouldn't cause even Juicy D Links to post.

Yeah, that part seemed to get overlooked by a few people.

Raw:unique:sale conversion numbers are one of the first lines of defense in fraud flags. Then you factor in sales:cancels:refunds/credits and the sirens start going off to boot.

I'm still amazed that after Greg was quite professional in his email to the guy that he went off on the boards like he did.

gregtx 05-04-2005 04:20 PM

wow 1000 views and second thread on GFY.. I feel loved...

sorry for the copy paste... and Zane I won't chase ya around to any other boards...

Hello from montreal.. wow.. what a great first thread :)

ok.. just so everyone knows.. my first email to Zane... :

>>> Hey Zane...
>>>
>>> question.. did you have someone you know do a test join under your
>>> siccash affiliate id?
>>>
>>> please advise.. thanks
>>>
>>> Best Regards
>>>
>>> Greg

Zane's first reply:
yes i did, greg. why do you ask?

Zane's immediate second reply:
to tell you the truth. it was the girl who i did the scene with, she hadnt
seen it before so she bought the trial. i didnt know unitl after that the
sale came from her...

Sorry for trying to work with you on this minor faux pas... but you should have never admited to having that girl to a "test join"...

cheers...

Im going to be looking into this executive stats program apparently it works well against FRAUD!

stev0 05-04-2005 04:32 PM

So this guy is all cranky because you guys took away a sale that he admitted wasn't legit? Phatzane... from what I understand the only sale you ever had was a fraudulent signup, what are you bitching about? I'd can your ass, Greg was pretty polite about it.
