there used to be a lot of mailers that could drop 400-500 joins per day on you, now those same people are barely able to send 100 and others even less...
there is also a disctintion between UCE and opt-in mailers (whether they be single or double opt-in)

There is more money in mailing. The biggest TGP's boast doing over 1m hits per day. Mailers send out more in a morning and the quality of traffic is better.

I live in the USA I cant get into mailing it is illegal here so whether or not I think it is more profitable than TGPs is irrelevent isnt it? Dude all Im saying is that this business is saturated with free sites, every chance anyone on here gets to discourage another TGP is a good idea. That is my opinion and NO I do not own a TGP.

its way too late to jump on the mailing boat in my opinion. shit, i thought it was too late when i was doing it 2 years ago. aol and hotmail are all locked down, its hard as fuck to get into anywhere thats worth anything. sure you might make a couple hundred bucks a day but keep in mind you'll need money for proxies, servers, lists, headers, ect. its not cheap. ppl think you can just get this and that and let it go, but those days are gone. stability is nil for mailers unless you have a total custom setup. then you have assholes trying to rip you off left and right, fake opt-in lists, proxies that don't work, cracked programs with trojans in them. a true opt-in set up would be cool, if you could run it without proxies and not get blacklisted. you just have to be careful as fuck when you buys lists, half the opt-in lists are fake generated shit. you'd be better off building an empire of sites, im working on that now myself.

I don't see how this thread is exclusively about illegal mailing. Figure out what the can spam act is before you continue making yourself look ignorant. It makes bulk mailing legal in the USA as long as you follow the rules.

I'm a bit clueles about proxies and shit, but if you use proxies don't they protect you from your ISP seeing what are you doing?

Funny thing is I can teach someone how to be a fully Can Spam Compliant mailer within hours. No proxies, no faked headers, nothing, and get into everything with ease and 100 percent legal. Even Hotmail's highest filters won't work.

The reality is that it would be the worst kept secret ever and it would ruin the market.
