Apologies man... I just hate unsolicited mail / email. If you're just sending "newsletters" to emails collected in a legit fashion, good for you. You must be one of the few not abusing a mailing list. :)

All of the spam I get is illegal, if it were can spam compliant my filter would stop it long before it hits me. :2 cents:

hahaha... I'm not sure which site you're referring to, but i suck at updating anything of my own which is pretty evident. there's only so many hours in the day *shrug* Somehow my http://v-rocks.confesstojesus.com gets hits, though I have no clue how.

anyway man. again, if you send legit emails and make some cash, more power to you. i just have issues with "spammers", so for my asshole posts in this thread, i apologize if you don't fit the bill, though I suspect others might :)

That's just a line they put on their website to save their ass down the line. Fact is, if you can send sales, there are very few people who will give a shit where it comes from.

The reality is...

There are CAN-SPAM compliant mailers and then are spammers. The two are very very different. In the mainstream, compliant mailing is considered very normal and very profitable. This is one reason list management and companies that handle list management have been increasing in recent years.

Mail has gotten such a bad rap on the adult side (as it should), as the majority of ?mailers? are really ?spammers?.

Considering the amount of Viagra and Percocet spam in my junk folder I think people are still making money.
