My dad was a Photo Journalist when Iran fell. He was in prison there for 95 days and lost 50 lbs. When I took Photo Journalism he talked me out of it. He did it for years and I remember well everytime he left to War, without being in the Army, it sucked..

Military Brat (does that count?). My father did 35 years in the USAF and retired out of Travis AFB in CA. I've lived in Florida, Virginia, Texas, Cali., Japan, Korea, and the Phillipines.

Wouldn't change it for the world!

He might have a good idea. When the media starts reporting on obscenity, airing the usual anti-freedom rhetoric from 'respectable' religious types, a spokeman from a group of equally 'respectable' military veterans supportive of free speech could put the arguement back on a level playing field. "We put our lives on the line to protect America and defend the Constitution, including The First Amendment." It would make it harder for the Bill O'Reilly types to belittle them. In a fight between a Pastor and a Pornographer, the loyalties of the sheepish masses are already established; but Pastor vs. Veteran? Hmmm. And the vet guys don't really risk anything because everybody already accepts that the military is full of manly-men who enjoy a bit of smut.

I've got a military chat board and several folks there run adult sites. One from SF, too .....
