Montreal or Toronto. I love those cities and have always toyed with the idea of moving to either one.
Montreal is great because its got great shopping, lots of history, great restaurants, always something going on, french culture. To me, MOntreal feels like NYC but smaller and easier to manage. Toronto is great because the people are super firendly, its clean, safe. The nightlife is great. I went to Toronto by myself and didn't know anyone and I had one of the best times in my life and met a lot of great people. |
In the United States, I'd shoose Seattle. I love it there.
But since you're a picky fuck who doesn't like the US, I'd go for Hobart, Australia. Loved it there, too, though I wish I could have stayed longer. |

Most people would tell you: the best city to live is ....
and then probably named the city where he´s actually living. The idea of this thread from my point of view is to name other city than the one you are living now, so I will have to say that Hawaii was always on my plans or maybe an island near Australia or some place with good waves to surf!! I forgot Jamaica :winkwink: |

Ireland was named the best country in the world to live in, so i would say the best city has to be Dublin http://msnbc.msn.com/id/6529893/

Auckland, New Zealand has to be one of the safest and coolest!!!!
I know as I was born and raised there. Gun's are illegal, theres no poisionous spiders and no snakes what so ever! Auckland is a HUGE city and has all that one could possibly want. Amazing dinning, great entertainment, relaxed laws on drugs and all aspects of adult industry and best of all, friendly ppl who love to party! hahahaha :thumbsup |

Yes i have been to Ireland many times. And i agree the weather is shit, but you can just jump on a quick flight if you wanna spend the weekend somewhere warmer. But otherwise Dublin has alot going for it! I live in Arizona, in 100 F+ weather, the idea of going somewhere cooler doesnt seem like a bad idea right now! |
as i sit here in a rain storm
yeah i been to dublin once ( was cold shitty rainy) seattle boston & other rainy cold places ...it rains here daily for 6 months out of the year ( miami area) but least it isnt COLD....& once your use to rain...( makes more instant wet t-shirt contests) it doesnt rain long & then poof free car wash keeps everything green......but as far as making $ & quality of life ..if you make/have $ you can have the best quality of life you can afford
now its just a matter of where you want to live.....miami beach is just down the road from me its as $$$ & nice as it gets anywhere in the world but you have to be "in to it" ie:moderation pacific side of costa rica is as nice as southern cal ( which i lived lived there) but NOT as crowded & much more respect for nature=less concrete i never been to NZ & OZ but hear wonderful things martina wanna take a trip LOL? www.martinaworldtour.com/AU&NZ_dates.html :thumbsup it stopped raining ...YEAH |
Toronto's all right.

I live in Barcelona myself, and I've been robbed here once. But it was my own fault, taking a "pirate cab" home from a night out. Only lost my mobile, so wasn't much, |
I've been around a lot, but I still haven't been to South America (closest was Mexico)
Heard a lot of good about Brasil, but there is a lot of crime there... Got a friend who's saying Costa Rica is the place to go, just sucks it's so far from Europe. |
Someone is a bit paranoid, me tinks. ;)

Cannes, France

I love Montreal....
but according to your answers in this thread, the best place for you would probably be in a bomb shelter....so doesn't really matter which city the shelter is in... |
