BTW... Ever heard of the "delete" key...or... oh yeah... the FTC must be some kinda hero. You need to make them aware of offensive advertising. Protect the incredibly STUPID from seeing... OMG... flesh!

And if they're making so much money... it must mean there's a market for it. Someones buying it. Hmmmm... still thought this was a capitalistic market place.

Say goodbye to the last free frontier... and GFY

Very Sad but true... why not go after all that mainstream fucking mortgage spammers

What gives the government the right to freeze the assets of a company that broke a minor law aimed stopping SPAM which has really in effect done nothing other than costing the tax payers millions of dollars to write the laws?

Ding Ding so true all the gov wants is there cut.. they are tired of the off shore not paying taxes etc. one way or another they are going to get there money from you.. :2 cents:

WG

They are a US citizen, US laws apply to them no matter what.

I am suprised at how many shadey internet people still don't get this. Offshore funds to launder money, off shore this - that. It all still applies to you.

RogerV 11-15-2005 11:01 PM

I never asked for it... lets start there before the email

why are so many people not getting it its unreal its all about them getting there cut

Never fuck with the tax man.

I can't believe you guys are defending adult content unsolicited spam.

There is a huge difference between a child opening a mortgage spam and/or snail mail and a spam for anal sex sluts. And btw laws do govern unsolicited snail mail as well.

Sure sex shouldn't be taboo but whatever - the fact is that there is an age appropriateness - and a standard has been set. Maybe you don't agree that it should be 18 in the US while many other countries are at 16 - do something about it politically then or live with it.

I bet you are all whining about it because your income has been decreased from the lack of people willing to take the same risks now for your programs - or waiting for your own lawsuits to come bite you in the ass for being equally arrogant and flipping birds at the laws.

Just because some of us dont agree with the Law doesnt mean we don't follow them.. and we all know we have no say as to how they regulate our industry or any at that..

I agree kids should be censored from seeing adult material but thats not the gov. job.. and if they care so much about children lets feed and cloth the homeless ones all over the world first..

there are some things we can learn from the European union

less violence and more sex

Not saying you don't follow the law... I am saying that our government doesn't arbitrarily make laws either. I do agree that parents should have the responsibility to protect their kids from material they deem harmful. But, in the case of unsolicited porn spam it was parents that demanded help from the government in the form of action from the FTC and laws to establish what was ok or not.
