If long lines were an issue, why not employ more staff to get through the "long lines" faster? It cost you $1.50 to send this badge out to me so clearly cost is NOT an issue.

I'm aware the rules say that but I have already clarified that if someone shows up at check-in without their badge they will indeed be given one at no extra charge.

I have never been happier to not be throwing an event in my life-
I am 100% convinced this tradeshow will be an abortion.
I am not even picking on the pricing-

I just know that security team and they are some yoked out, steroid attitude muscle heads - AVN gave them a mission already to stamp out trespassers and I am willing to bet dollars to donuts- that they will be patrolling the hotel looking like Hitler Youth and using Gestapo like tactics-

Personally I think that was a great move, but now that you are going to charge girls $300.00 per to attend you will eliminate a large amount of the eye candy. That webmasters like Roger, LA Mike, JB, might have brought. So now you have a Pool Party

Let?s think about this in night club terms. You have ladies nights where girls get in free and even drink for free so guys will come. NO GIRLS NO GUYS. AVN should take this same approach where ALL girls get a pink badge and are allowed in FREE. So you loose 30-40 registrations this year because you did not collect on a few girls like Naughty Ally or Vanilla. SO WHAT!!!!! This is going to be nothing compared to the hundreds next year of guy webmasters that don?t come because it was the FLORDIA SASUAGE FEST

How long do you think 600 drunk guys are going to stay at an on site party with no girls before they break into small groups and start heading to South Beach. Now as a sponsor we have lost all that time to NETWORK (why you go to the show to start with)

I was going to use the same nite club example. LOL

I just feel screwed when I have to pay them to have girls hang out. if they walk the show floor with me no prob.. I bought badges for that.

Good post Ron ,I look forward to meeting you at the Phoenix show :) AVN doesnt listen because they think they have the same power they have on the video side and they dont. THe only way to send a clear message is not to go .

One thing I can say for certain.

Everytime my bro and I tried to promote a POOL PARTY in South Florida for one of these shows we had disastrous outcomes-
It's why you won't see a PLayers Ball anywhere near that event any more-

AVN Pool Party will be rained out- and they'll be laughihg their asses off at you fools that paid $300 for a badge when you are all under an overhang, trying to stay dry.

I can see all of the smokers now huddled around bitching about the rain and they can't keep their cigarrettes dry

crazy how I have to Pay $1200 to bring 4 girls to hang out. I could have thrown another contest and gave back to the webmasters, We are also giving away Sony PSP in Choker raffle. I was going to sponsor some parties but now I'm not sure.

bottom line is your right they need to listen to the webmasters because trust me i know there is no loyalty. LOL

Anyway we are sponsoring the diner with extreme paychecks this friday hope to see all the Tampa crew. we need to put together a large show here.

You're right, I am just the messenger, and I agree with your analogy. KB's wrong in the fact that I came to AVN specifically to listen to webmasters because I didn't think it was happening either. A lot of good changes have happened but I'm not the final word here. I'm passing along this feedback and seeing what can happen but this is a logistical issue that Internext may not want to handle beyond the current solution for evening guests.

Yeah, seems kinda fucked that your models get in for free, but yet other peoples models have to pay $$$$ to come in.. Not saying that your girls should not be allowed in free.. but what I am saying is that all girls should be allowed in free if they are models for those that are attending the show..

To me it seems AVN is not listening to their trade demographic... But rather listening to the coins clinking in their pockets....
