I do get at least 10 messages daily from my network provider that they claim are alerts. And I must say aren't really useful.

My old Nokia made it easy to text. The auto spell functions rocked.

Not the same on my Motorola, so I don't do it as much.

text messaging is sometimes better then talking. I hate people calling just to tell me they are running late especially when i don't have time to pick up the call. or instead of texting me a quick message they leave a message on the voicemail which means I have to waste my time to call the voicemail to retrieve.

no texting isn't a gay or female thing.

i use it a lot, its easier than calling someone if you just have a quick question to ask, and its good for when you're out and the bar is too loud to talk on the phone.
