eroswebmaster 07-18-2005 09:05 AM

The only movie I ever walked out of and requested my money back was...

Romy and Michelle's High School Reunion.

DaddyHalbucks 07-18-2005 09:09 AM

I didn't see that one in the movies but I kinda liked it. Well my wife liked it so that meant I kinda liked it.

The worst movies experience was Ace Ventura Pet Detective. It was a small audience and the humor was lost on us...that was the only movie we thought deserved a ticket refund.

A couple years later we watched it on cable and it wasn't as bad. I guess it's in the timing and atmosphere.

flirty 07-18-2005 10:00 AM

The Taxi wasn't bad at all. it's just not what we probably expected.
The Quiz Show was the most boring.

did anyone saw "To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything! Julie Newmar" (1995) :upsidedow

:winkwink:

i did not watch the whole lake placid, not even saw it in the big screen. just seeing some parts of it disgusts me so i never sat down in front of the TV and waste my time.

:winkwink:

okay i stand corrected that anacondas is better than anacondas but it's still not a good movie in my own taste (and so i didn't catch it at the cinemas)

CynthiaB 07-18-2005 10:42 AM

I'd like to know how you define a "bad" movie. Some movies like old B horror movies are so bad, they're good (Plan Nine - now that's a badly made movie)

Bad as in stupid or boring, that's another thing.

Cyn

MikeB 07-18-2005 10:59 AM

Some movies are so bad they are good. But the worst movie should be a movie that has no redeeming characteristics, one that is so bad it can not be found to have any positive merit, not even to laugh at the movie.

I didn't take the time to read through the thread to know if this has been posted, but The Island of Dr. Moreau with Val Kilmer is easily the worst movie I have ever seen. :2 cents:

MikeB 07-18-2005 11:42 PM

I've only seen about 5% of the movies mentioned so far in this thread.

wikadoo 07-19-2005 12:18 AM

Ishtar, if it hasn't been listed already. Don't really know how they got this movie to be made.

Exactly! The original French versions are great fun. I nearly puked when I saw what they were doing with the American versions.

Sarah_Jayne 07-19-2005 02:55 AM

My vote goes for a film that is so bad that it is good. I require it to be shown at any 'cheesey movie' marathons and it is - the original (not the Clooney remake) of Attack Of The Killer Tomatoes

Attack of the killer tomatoes! Attack of the killer tomatoes!
They'll beat you, bash you, squish you, mash you
Chew you up for brunch and finish you off for dinner or lunch!
They're marching down the halls - They're crawling up the walls
They're gooey, gushy, squishy, mushy - Rotten to the core
They're standing outside your door!

Remember Herman Farbage while taking out his garbage
He turned around and he did see tomatoes hiding in his tree
Now he's just a memory!
I know I'm going to miss her - a tomato ate my sister
Sacramento fell today - They're marching in San Jose
Tomatoes are on their way!
:1orglaugh

reed_4 07-19-2005 05:10 AM

i hate that movie too. the title itself sucks

ibbunk 07-19-2005 04:36 PM

Last Action Hero
Only movie I ever fell asleep at the theater
