50 cent owns the trl mainstream market. it doesn't mean any of the music he's put out has been on the same scale as mobb deep. mobb signing with gunit was the smartest thing they did as their exposure will quadroople. i'm just afraid that mobbdeep is going to go mainstream music. that would be awful.

To me the best rapper is the one that can sell the most records. Thats why i choose Dr. Dre (interscope).

Not as good as infamous is the biggest understatement I've heard all weak. Granted if it was anyone else who released that album, it would be pretty good. But after Infamous, Hell On Earth, and Murda Muzik, that cd is a total coaster.

Personally what I did was compile the 3 or 4 songs I liked from the last album, infamy, and the free agents mixtape to make a mobb deep best of 2000-2005 mixtape. And It still didn't compare to anything they've done before.

There is no one better than Tupac alive. Talent like impossible to hide.. Dr Dre owns aftermath not interscope genius. Go listen to ferry corsten.

It is not fair to say any one of those rappers are better or best. To compare those artists is crazy, when there are so many BETTER rappers out. You are all arguing with yourselves, in the sense that you sound like the little girls on TRL. Who cares who is selling more records, that does not make the latest fad the greatest rapper.

With expanded media these days the hype is bigger, and music is hitting peaks that were never thought possible only few years before. 2pac is dead, let the man rest. And to say you don't like 50 cent cause he is too exposed, and 2pac is the best is completely stupid. 2pac was just as exposed, in fact... the niggas dead and ya'll still fighting over him.

All those artists are great, but there are better rappers out there. Too Short, UGK'z, Wu Tang was huge, scarface, spice 1, Twista been around forever, and them boys Do or Die.
