btw..The US doesn't hold the copyright on quality education. People come all over the world to go to school in the UK. Ever heard of Oxford and Cambridge? Even American presidents come over here to study in their youth. As did many many other heros of history. IMHO, the American university sytem is very good if overpriced (she says looking at her student loan bill). It is the high school and lower that lets us down. Especially in the history and geography areas.

It's very interesting to see the vast void between some of the Russian perspectives and the westerner's view on WW II. The fact is, all our countries did what we had to do to beat down a group of countries (Germany, Italy, Japan) that thought they would just go out and rule the world one day. Not every country played an equal role in that, because not every country has the resources and manpower that other countries have, but it took the collaboration of one hell of a lot of great countries to get the job done. And people, the job IS done.

Oh, and incognito, for a guy who professes to be knowledgeable in historic world events, your line of thinking falls right in line with the typical ungrateful Easterner. Fact is, if it weren't for YOUR country always putting pro hockey players into the Olympics (to show the world how great you all are) and defending them as amateur athletes, we wouldn't have had to put OUR pro players in there to show YOU that we are on to your bullshit.
