how much $/day do you get for sigwhoring ? |
Also the question is not realistic because it's much better for such a person to make monthly payments. Why would someone making $8 an hr want to pay for it in cash at once?? . Just buy a nice used Civic for 7k or so and make monthly payments over a few years. Problem solved.

I have lived on $25 a week and I have lived on $5000 a week
Both situations had their own unique challenges.. but I still managed to live. |

This is the land of opportunity. Not everyone wants it. That makes it easier for me. I'm a firm believer in paying people more than what they deserve to be paid. A simple concept that works great.
$8.75/hour. WOW. I can't imagine how anyone could live on that. When you're in corporate America for a while you lose sight on the fact that many people struggle to pay their bills. No one making $8.75 per hour needs to be driving a $20k car. I had no intention of paying cash. |
Fairly simple reasoning why someone would go with the 20k car.
Vast majority of the average population has the spending sense of a 3 year old with 10 bucks in a candy store. They have a tendancy to fall for the monthly payments and not think long term. Also often with poor or no credit car companies will only obtain new car finacing instead of issuing a loan on a used car. Reasoning is that a new car would have a better value if repoed, where a used car often would be worth less than the amount due. They of course could outright buy a used car for a few k, yet people have no savings and they would rather spend 300-400 a month for 60 months than try to get a few k together all at once. Hell look at how many people use rent to own furniture and electronics. 60.00 a week for a TV and so on. :Oh crap |
thats why people who make that kinda money shouldnt but 20k cars. shit i make way more $ than that and i've never spent over 10k on a car. i would rather invest it.
|
it's amazing how people live like that, and raise familys on combined incomes of like 60k a year.

thats quite a bit of cash for MANY people. I'm more surprised by the people who raise kids on, combined, $20k a year. With 3-4 or more kids. |
That's crazy bro, that's why I work in the adult industry. You would have to have 5 jobs to enjoy life : )

I would rather walk then drive a shitty car,
or ride the public bus Or buy a bike or ride my motorcycle. people who drive shitty cars = losers. |
I know I learned my lesson about spending too much on a car. My dumb ass when I was 19 bought a 32k car and it turned out to be a huge problem. My dad ended up just taking over payments on it for me so it didnt fuck me up too badly. I was dumb as shit back then and thought the easy money (12-15k/month or more off my cj sites) I was making in this biz would last forever. I am never ever getting myself into that situation again. I have lived off 20k/month and I have lived off of less than 20k/year and I just turned 25 years old last week. After things came crashing down I was driving a 1982 F-150 that I had already had to haul shit in as my only vehicle, then my wife got pregnant and we had to get something that you could actually get a car seat in, so I found a 1984 Oldsmobile Delta 88 ghetto as fuck car (when you drive thru the ghetto here in my town those cars are parked in front of almost every house, hahahhaa) for 450$ that ran really good, that was our main vehicle for over a year and a half until things started turning around for us. The last 6 months we drove that Olds beast we could have afforded a nicer car but I thought what the hell its still running good so why not keep driving it. Then my wife got pregnant and the wife bitched about that damn car non stop so I finally gave in when her aunt offered to sale us her 93 Ford Explorer that was in like new condition with very low miles for 5k, they only wanted 1k down and let us make payments interest free, well next month will be a year we have had that car and we will have that fucker paid off next month too. And that old truck and Oldsmobile are still running to this day haha, my broke ass brother always has car problems so I let him drive them whenever he need a vehicle which has been everyday for the last year and a half hahaha.
Sorry for boring everyone with my car story but, it proves that anyone can get by without needing a fucking 20k new car, especially someone who makes 8$/hour. |

did *I* strike a nerve ? you seem to be here at all times, posting constantly. that tells us you don't have a regular job or run any websites (because people who run websites, hardly have any time to post non-stop like you do) therefore, you earn your living from sig-whoring. a noboby like you is usually hired for $0.20 per post (or about $200 flat - per month) so you don't even make $7 per hour. now stfu. |

I wouldn't consider working for $8.75 an hour a shame. Some people are just content with life at that point, and don't desire more. Whatever makes someone happy...
But to buy a 20,000 car at 8.75 wouldn't be the smartest idea. That's unless you've got a suga mama =) |
maths...that's not with me...
|
bump for those thinking in spending too much in xmas gifts...lol
