I co-founded lambo-power.com, it's currently the net's largest single Lamborghini owner meeting spot, you're welcome to join the community. There are well over 100 owners participating there, I rounded down because I don't know the total.

It has nothing to do with "ridiculousness", it has to do with you coming out of left field, insulting the intelligence of every Gallardo owner with your childish insults (what are you 12 Mark? With your money you can't act more maturely when you want to make a point?) and then getting upset that no one agrees with you.

Call it "gay-ardo" "ghey-r-do", whatever you like, but at the end of the day, no G owner is trading their car for the "much faster" Z06. That's my point. Where you're getting all this my-day-can-beat-up-your-dad shit I don't know.

If they ever outlawed detectors here I'd probably end up having to walk or ride a bike.Local county sheriffs are terrible here with radar.They know every sneaky hiding place there is and help balance the fiscal budget writing tickets.
Here a 20mph over the limit will set you back about $200..for the first offense.

I'm enjoying this more then any of you know.
I don't own either the corvette (My ultimate dream car being a 69 vette black with hot-rod parts) or a lambo, I can't afford to own a lambo and to be honest I'd buy a house or two condominiums before i bought anything else remotely that expensive.
That being said, both cars are amazing, if anything because they outperform the car I currently own (Vtec 2005 Civic EX) and most likely any car most will ever own. It's a joy to drive I'm sure and I'm happy for you.

Marc you own a murc... that in my opinion is the pinnacle of engineering,I was only priveledged enough to Ride in one, but I can tell you all it was a blast. Why don't you both get together and drive a couple miles side by side and changing leads... that'd be cool to see on the highway.

Why must GFY always go down that route, so tough to have a debate that's civil.

Regardless, I'll keep it above the belt as I have from the start, and say that the Z06 is great car for the money, but not a car I'd own over a Gallardo regardless of speed differences. To each his own.

The next Z06 is nice, extremely fast, but I drove a standard C6 three weeks ago and found the interior materials not up to par...at all. In fact the plastics were analagous to those I've seen in recent Kia/Hyundais. The leather seats were similarly brutal, I don't know what animals they're sourcing the hides from but they're terrible. There was a large degree of chassis flex, and the steering felt vague during high speed cornering.

Or...Chevy has raised the bar.

And So has Ford.I haven't driven one,but I got a chance to really look over the Ford GT and I was impressed with the craftsmanship on the car.It's a bit radical for my tastes,but the fit and finish on it was superb.

I like the GT, the two I've seen first hand were both solid. Well built, no obvious flaws, panel alignment was sharp, etc.

They've had trouble on the line however, a few heavy engine recalls (one so bad they instructed owners not to drive the car under ANY circumstances, sending out flatbeds for each of them), and Saleen has fired two of his VPs over issues related to quality since the car went into production.

I wouldn't hesitate to own one though once the bugs are worked out, seems like a winner.

They recalled all of the Ford GTs because they didnt meet child restraining specification for the front passenger seat haha.

I live in Dearborn (Ford World Headquarters is a few minutes away) and I see a lot of GTs. They look damn cool in motion on the road.

This is hillarious - I like what I like. I don't care who makes or how much it costs. It just has to look good to me, drive good to me, and overall be enjoyable / fun. :)

I've owned a Ferrari, I currently own Porsche, but being "haters" is as silly to me as the entire Ford Truck Man vs Chevy Man - it just makes me roll my eyes hehe
