If all I was interested in was volume I would have bought more efficient speakers. These are only 91db @ 1watt. These speakers are more geared towards classical music than hip-hop if you had any clue about what speakers I own.

I do agree that this setup look a little ghetto. I am in the process of building a house that will have a dedicated home theater room.

It seems the way my equipment is setup is more important to you than the actual equipment itself.
