i'm not holding her hostage - she took this action on her own - i would NEVER do any harm to her affiliates. I had no clue she was going to send out that email - this is a NATS thing. All her stuff works.

I'm trying to avoid this situation as much as I can other than Ashley being a client of ours as I have respect for you and from what I know of Ashley so far she seems like a good person also.

However, you have a very valid reason in not wanting her to use NATS in that you don't want any affiliate to loose any money. I resepect that completely. If there were a way for her to move to NATS and for no affiliate to loose any money would you be willing to work with her more to resolve the issues there are?

Just a thought to try to calm the situation some if that is your only concern over her moving to a NATS based affiliate program.

because even while I was ready to help this girl out - soon i could see it was going to be more help than I originally thought - I urged her, begged her to find solutions - when I began to see how this was going to go and money was going to have to spent then I made sure that she understood that if I'm going to spend money, put in the time then shes going to be expected to fulfill her obligations and there would be no outright GIFTS.

i'm not blaming NATS the company or the software - it is a HUGE decision for a program to make changes to an affiliate program - she should have considered everything in full before sending that email out.

You have stated a few times in this thread that NATS is your problem with this whole thing as it will somehow screw affiliates.

You have never once spoken with us about what can and can't be done to make sure affiliates continue to receive credit.

Ashely could very easily let the ccbill program continue to run, rebill members, pay affiliates, give credit for new signups, allow existing links to function, etc. however you told her that she is not allowed to use the content that those FHGs, and her site consist of (at least this is what I gather based on what I've read here and what she has told me).

This has NOTHING to do with what NATS can and can't do as far as affiliates getting credit so I say again. Please don't even being to try to blame this on us.

Thank you. It had seemed you thought we were somehow responsible for affilaites getting credit or not. Like I said above. She can easily make the move without screwing a single person. Many programs have done so and I'm sure many more will. It's up to the parties actually involved with the site to determine if they are willing or not.

This is some lame ass fucking shit. From what I gather, Mutt expected a certain commitment from Ashley (to work 5 hours/day, 5 days/week) and Ashley refused. Then Ashley got greedy and decided she is not only a model, but an entrepreneur as well. So now Ashley decides she will run her site and affiliate program all on her own, without Mutt. Ashley, have you lost your fucking mind? How do you expect to run your site and affiliate program on your own, when you are not even willing to put in 25 hours/week of work?

this is true - everything she has currently works and can continue to work - even with the content/design issues she had more than enough time to get her ass to work and get new tours made, and enough content to make a go of it - she owns some of her own content and if she really was serious about her business she'd have a ton more content - she found a photographer - go for it.

no affiliate was going to be hurt on my account - but the days of accomodating Ashley were over 3 weeks ago. She knew that - she had time to come up with solutions before sending this email out.

I'm trying to avoid the actual argument and disagreement here as much as possible as the only two who know the full story are Ashley and yourself. It's not my place to pass judgement on either of your or say who was right or wrong as I'll never know exactly what went down. You could be right. She could be right.

The only thing I'm here to comment on is how the transition to our software will work. Are you saying she can continue to run her ccbill program on her own as it has been run so that the affiliates do not need to pull down their links and can receive credit for pending rebills, new sales on the old links, etc.?

Also, as I said you did not ask us I should also state that she did not ask us if her ccbill program could continue to run in the background as her new NATS based program comes online. She may have had the thought that she had to kill the ccbill based program for some reason and that may be why she sent the email. She should have spoken with us and you about it prior. All that can be done now is to try to best preserve the credit affiliates deserve for the links they have to her now.
